Do you want to see if becoming an Avon distributor is a good business fit for you?

If that’s the case, you’ve come to the perfect place.

We’re going to review Avon MLM to see if it’s the best MLM course out there.

We’ll discuss whether multilevel marketing is the ideal online business for you.

Lastly, I’ll answer some of the most often asked questions about Avon and multilevel marketing in general.

And most important, I’ll show you the exact system I used to build my own internet marketing business to over $40,000 a month in mostly passive income.

This system made me swear off MLM for good because it uses some of the same skills in a much more powerful and profitable way!

What Is Avon?

Avon History

David Mcconnell

Avon’s founder, David McConnell, had no intention of starting a beauty company.

He was a traveling book salesman who gave away free perfume samples as a bonus during his presentations.

He soon realized that the customers were more interested in the free perfume samples than the books.

So, after his “aha” moment, McConnell went back to his New York City office and started experimenting with different fragrance mixtures in order to come up with a signature product.

September 1886:

He then organized a team of passionate female sales representatives to assist him in the launch of his new perfume brand.

He began his new business in a small Manhattan office at 126 Chambers Street.

This was a bold business model in 1886, but McConnell believed in the power of community and was dedicated to economically empowering women.

McConnell changed the company’s name in 1892.

His business associate suggested the name “California Perfume Company.”

His partner, who was residing in California at the time, suggested the name due to the number of flowers there.

Avon Founders

May 1894:

As vice-president and treasurer, Alexander D. Henderson helped to shape the company’s policies and contribute to its success.

In Suffern, New York, the business established a laboratory…

May 3, 1909:

The California Perfume Company relocated its headquarters to New York’s 31 Park Place.

June 16, 1909:

In the state of New Jersey, McConnell and Henderson signed a certificate of incorporation for the California Perfume Company.

January 28, 1916:

In the state of New York, the California Perfume Company was incorporated. McConnell, Henderson, and William Scheele were identified as company officials.

October 6, 1939:

The California Perfume Company was renamed Avon Products Inc.

June 3, 1932:

The “California Perfume Company, Inc.” of New York filed the initial patent claim for Avon with the USPTO.

Among the products and services cited to the USPTO were perfumes, toilet waters, powder and rouge compacts, lipsticks, and other toiletry products.

August 30, 1932:

The application for registration was approved.

Avon has made a debut in the Chinese market.

China has banned direct selling.

Avon was forced to sell only through physical shops known as Beauty Boutiques after China banned direct selling.

In 2001, the restriction was lifted, and in 2006, the company received a direct selling license.

Avon paid $650 million for Silpada, a direct seller of silver jewelry.

Avon’s global earnings had fallen for the fifth year in a row, and it’s North American revenues had fallen by 18%.

New Avon LLC, which also goes by the name “Avon,” has finalized the separation of Avon’s United States, Canada, and Puerto Rico divisions.

Meanwhile, as part of a three-year plan, the multinational company Avon Products moved its headquarters to London, United Kingdom.

Avon HQ

March 2016:

Cerberus Capital Management purchased Avon Products preferred stock for $435 million in cash, closing a transaction that began in December 2015 when Avon sold 80.1 percent of its North American division to Cerberus.

The contract was worth $605 million in total. As a result of the investment, Cerberus currently owns about 17% of Avon Products.

August 2019:

New Avon LLC, a privately-held North American company that separated from Avon Products, Inc. (formerly known as Avon Worldwide) in 2016, has agreed to buy the cosmetics company for $125 million in cash from LG Household & Health Care, Ltd., a South Korean consumer products conglomerate.

Makeup Products

January 2020:

Natura &Co. bought Avon Products, Inc.

The Natura &Co chain includes Natura, Aesop, and The Body Shop, and with the acquisition of Avon, it has grown to become the world’s fourth-largest pure-play cosmetics company.

September 2020:

The business debuted a new ad campaign called “Watch Me Now,” which featured fresh brand images and a new Avon logo.

Is Avon A Good Product?

Is Avon A Good Product

In the cosmetics business, Avon competes with brands such as L’Oreal and Estée Lauder in terms of brand recognition and quality.

Avon has been in business for more than 130 years, and women continue to buy its products. For that, we have to give them a lot of credit.

Side note: The Avon Research & Development Center is even located in New York, according to the corporation.

They have a team of scientists and researchers on staff who work on innovative beauty product creation.

Avon Review: Can You Make Money With Avon?

You can undoubtedly earn money with Avon MLM, but if you’re going to put in the effort to become a network marketer (which, believe me, isn’t simple), you might as well make some REAL money.

Some of the same MLM skills are taught in the program that helped me grow my online business to $40,000+ per month, but it shows you how to monetize them in a much, much more successful way.

Avon Review: Is Avon Safe To Use?

Avon claims that they are committed to providing safe and effective products in the more than 50 nations where they do business throughout the world, and they are proud of their 135-year safety record.

They promise to adhere to the same worldwide quality and safety standards all around the world and to follow all government regulations governing beauty and personal care products.

Avon Review: Is Avon A Multi-Level Marketing Company?

Avon is a multilevel marketing company that many people are unaware of.

This is most likely due to the fact that Avon only switched to an MLM business model in 2005.

Avon is an MLM opportunity, despite what people think or argue you’re not really going to be an “independent business owner” if you join…

When it comes to starting a business, though, you have a lot of BETTER options.

Keep in mind that I am not paid in any way to promote the programs I review. MLM is a great business model, in my opinion, however you may be leaving a lot of money on the table.

When Did Avon Become MLM?

The switch to MLM was planned by Avon in 2005 as part of a bigger restructuring drive aimed at increasing sales and cutting costs.

Avon Review: Is Avon A Bad MLM?

Countless Avon independent representatives agree that Avon is a fantastic direct selling company to work with.

Avon, according to many distributors, invests heavily in training its representatives so that they can flourish in the company.

But how many of those distributors are real/actually telling the truth?

The fact of the matter is that regardless of the MLM company you work with…99% of people ONLY break even.

Less than 1% actually turn it profitable. Even still…the average distributor only brings in $200 per month.

So is it a bad MLM? The numbers don’t lie!

If you want a system you can ACTUALLY make money with…check out our #1 recommendation!

Who Is The No.1 MLM Company In World?

Without a doubt, Amway is the most successful MLM of all time!

For the past fifteen years, it has ruled the network marketing industry.

Amway, along with its sister company Alticor, is the only MLM that has the largest number of distributors and affiliated companies.

It includes a million-strong distributor team in more than 100 countries.

Avon Review: Is Avon A Pyramid Scheme?

Is Avon MLM A Pyramid Scheme

Avon is definitely not a pyramid scheme or a scam. It has a proven track record that can be trusted upon. It sells high-quality products.

Avon has long been and continues to be, the backbone of the direct sales industry’s credibility.

It has unintentionally provided credibility to multi-level marketing (MLM) schemes that promoted outlandish health scams, some of which have been sued by financially affected customers, while others have been shut down for pyramid fraud by regulators.

Through their affiliation with Avon as “direct selling” companies, blatant schemes can persuade buyers that they are legal MLMs.

Anyone who has questioned a multi-level marketing company’s credibility has been met with the defiant question, “Are you claiming Avon is also fraudulent?”

Avon is the de facto ambassador for the MLM market, as a member of the Direct Selling Association.

However, just because it isn’t a pyramid scheme doesn’t mean you’ll be able to make money with it. In fact, most people just barely break even…

It is entirely possible to build a profitable, successful online business… But there are better ways to build a business other than with Avon.

My #1 pick proves this. Because unlike Avon, it actually provides real proof of real success from real people as recently as a few days ago!

Avon Review: Do People On Reddit Think That Avon Is A Pyramid Scheme?

In response to the topic, we will share some responses from Reddit with questions like “Why are network marketing organizations like Avon and Mary Kay not called pyramids?”:

My mother couldn’t recruit to save her life, but she did make money with Avon for birthday and Christmas money.

I’m usually wary of businesses that ask people to join a membership program, but what my friend does is sell to her friends and neighbors, and if they say no, she stops bothering them about the products. She said it was just for a little extra cash.

Why Is Avon Not A Pyramid Scheme?

Despite the fact that Avon has a number of issues, such as overcharging customers and engaging in misleading practices, the company is not classified as a pyramid scheme since it does not prioritize recruitment over actual sales.

A sales representative’s earnings from selling beauty products account for a significant amount of the profits that can be made.

Can You Really Make Money With Avon?

Many people struggle with a lot of the aspects of Network Marketing, as we’ve mentioned previously.

In fact, check out our Top 5 Reason Why Most Network Marketers Fail.

Don’t get me wrong…

You can absolutely make money with Avon, but if you’re going to put in the time and effort required to become a successful Avon Rep (which, believe me, isn’t easy), you might as well make some real money while you’re learning the ropes.

The program that helped skyrocket my online business to $40,000+ per month is so simple that making money really does become second nature.

Avon MLM Company Review: Pros And Cons

Why Should I Become an Avon Rep?

The costs of the starter kit are low.

You only need to spend a minimum of $25 on starter kit products to become one of Avon Reps.

The retail value of the $25 starter set is around $80.

If you really want to make an impact right away, invest in a higher-priced beginning package ($50 to $100).

Avon’s commission ratio might reach 50% depending on sales volume.

You can earn up to 50% sales commission if you hit the company’s “President’s Club” rank.

This is really generous in the multi-level marketing world.

Products are affordable

Since most consumers regard price to be the most essential aspect in purchasing decisions, this is also a strong selling point.

People are afraid to give away their hard-earned cash, but offering affordable, high-quality products will help you sell them.

Bribery and PETA are two topics that have sparked controversy.

Continued sales drop.

What Is Our Top Recommendation For Making Money Online?

Our review team has come across a program in the real estate industry that is next level!

Although it’s not real estate in the traditional sense, it’s all digital.

Yup, Digital Real Estate!

Where Avon falls short is in scalability.

There’s only so much time in a day and there’s only so many people you can reach to sell by yourself.

MLM companies know this!

Which is why they push so hard for you to recruit for your downline…you can’t get rich with it as a one man/woman show.

But what if you could make even more money off of little local websites without having to spend hundreds of dollars on overpriced products and a bunch of time recruiting people to sell under you?

With this digital real estate program, you can make recurring monthly income without constant sales to your friends and constant recruitment!

Sound too good to be true?

Of course it does!

But it isn’t…in fact, business owners wish they had this skill!

All you have to do is build and rank a LOCAL website and forward the jobs off to a business owner in town, you could even email it to them!

This works for literally any service based business, tree service, plumbing, towing, etc.

How do you get paid and how much?

Simple, after you forward the jobs off to a business owner and he makes some money off of them, you simply ask to make the deal beneficial for each other.

A fair price to charge per lead, depending on the industry is 10-20%…let’s just use the tree service industry for example and go by worst case scenario.

Let’s say you build and rank the site and only 10 jobs a month come in. The average tree service job is anywhere from $500-$2000!

That means at bare minimum you have an asset worth $500 a month!

See why they call it digital real estate now? That’s a rent payment.

The great thing is how easy it is to scale. You don’t have to worry about:

  • Your upline getting paid before you
  • Begging your friends and family members to buy from you
  • Recruiting people all the time

But as it is with Avon … You only get what’s left of the pie IF you meet a monthly quota…

The course we recommend actually allows you to collect HUGE FLAT RATE DEALS. Truly passive income!

The training program takes making money online to a whole other level. The owner of the program walks you through how to build and rank a site hand in hand, with the occasional voice over when he is sharing his screen.

You will learn the importance of keywords, website name, how to send call notifications via email, backlinking, etc.

Once the training program is completed you will also have access to a Facebook group much better than the Avon  group in our opinion. This group is much more active.

Scott is crushing it!

Unlike Avon , where you’re getting maybe $10 per sale, you could be getting 10-20X THAT.

A business will always want more leads and another job. In fact it doesn’t even matter that the job isn’t coming from their website name…they see it as it is…expanding digital real estate.

Unlike Avon, more people have been able to walk away from their 9-5 job as well.

Digital real estate allows you to have total passive income with most of your day being spent WITH your friends, NOT selling to them.

Now, I know you probably have tons of questions…

So, check this out to learn more.
