HempWorx MLM Review: Is HempWorx Legit? Check Here If You Will Benefit from HempWorx CBD

Table of Contents

CBD, or cannabidiol, is now the fastest-growing ingredient in the 2020 supplement industry. The most used herbal extract in the health and wellness industry in 2019 was hemp-derived cannabis oil. And, as interest grows and trending popularity increases, multi-level network marketing companies will capitalize on the CBD oil craze and offer a way to “participate” in the surge of legalized hemp-derived cannabidiol supplementation that has swept the country following the passage of the 2018 Farm Bill.

The US effectively passed the requisite laws to manufacture and market CBD products within the 0.3 percent THC threshold when President Donald Trump signed the Hemp Farm Bill of 2018 at the start of 2019. With this federal approval, hemp-grown CBD oil can now be cultivated, processed, distributed, marketed, and bought freely in almost 50 states in the United States.

But, as the sometimes shady reputation of multi-level marketing will have it when you combine CBD and MLM, all sorts of “here now, gone tomorrow” programs and dubious brands pushing cannabidiol to the highest of heavens as the next big thing as retailers and affiliates try to cash in on the cannabis green rush began to crop up.

This HempWorx MLM review will examine one of the most popular CBD MLM companies from around the world. But before we review HempWorx, let us first discuss what CBD is and how CBD works.

What Is CBD?

What Is CBD

CBD, or cannabidiol, is a chemical compound found in the cannabis plant that belongs to the cannabinoid family. Cannabis contains 108 distinct kinds of cannabinoids, according to scientists.

THC, or delta-9-tetrahydrocannabinol, is the most well-known cannabinoid because of its psychoactive effects (it’s the one that makes you “high”). Still, CBD is rapidly gaining popularity due to its possible medicinal benefits.

How Does CBD Oil Work?

How Does CBD Oil Work

CBD (and THC) interact with the endocannabinoid system in our bodies, a control system made up of naturally occurring cannabis-like molecules. As they’re known, endocannabinoids work similarly to neurotransmitters, transporting signals across the body to maintain homeostasis. CBD and THC interact with the endocannabinoid system by two different receptors: CB1 and CB2.

CB1 receptors are mainly found in the brain, where they are involved in cognition, memory, motor abilities, pain, and the peripheral nervous system, liver, thyroid, and uterus. THC binds to these receptors, preventing certain neurotransmitters from being released while potentially increasing the release of others, affecting normal function.

CBD was once believed to function in the same way as THC, along with CB2 receptors, which are found in abundance in the immune and gastrointestinal systems and the brain and nervous system. However, they no longer believe this to be the case.

Although the precise mechanism by which CBD affects our bodies remains unclear, scientists believe that CBD stimulates the body to create more of its own endocannabinoids, which may reduce anxiety, pain, and inflammation.

What is HempWorx?

Check how HempWorx can be your new online business

While the HempWorx ‘About Us’ page is chock-full of useful facts about CBD’s history, there is unfortunately little information about the MLM company itself. However, I discovered that they use “special” supercritical technologies to extract over 400 phytonutrients from raw hemp material without using any toxic solvents or heat, which is a good thing.

HempWorx products are both 100% organic and non-genetically engineered, and the MLM company claims to manufacture all of its products here in the USA. Furthermore, the hemp from which the oil is extracted is grown in the state of Kentucky.

HempWorx, unlike many other companies who claim to have lab-tested their CBD products, “walks the walk” by posting up-to-date reports of their test results on their website. Tap the “CBD Oil Certification” button under the “HempWorx Store” tab to find them.

In other words, based on what I’ve seen so far during my HempWorx MLM  review, this appears to be a top-notch oil company. It seems to be on par with the industry’s big names, at least in terms of quality.

HempWorx Review: History

Josh and Jenna, founders of HempWorx online business

Josh and Jenna met shortly before the launch of My Daily Choice company in the summer of 2014. They’ll say it was love at first sight that brought them together, but it was their commitment to helping others that solidified their bond. They have set out to transform the world since then. Before starting My Daily Choice company, Josh was the top earner for another company. He built a team of over 60,000 people worldwide, with revenue reaching $100 million in just six years.

Josh launched MyDailyChoice company in November of 2014, and Jenna joined as an affiliate. Peak, Boost, and Shield were the three nutritional spray products at the time. Jenna was on a mission and needed to prove herself, so she jumped right in and started building momentum the best way she knew how: via social media. She quickly rose to the top of the company thanks to her ability to rally the troops, inspire, and motivate, until her health deteriorated. Jenna was told she had a rare autoimmune disease. Jenna became increasingly passionate about alternative and holistic health and started to adjust her lifestyle. Jenna decided to eat only gluten-free foods, and Josh agreed to join her. Her health began to improve, but there was still something lacking.  Jenna continued to feel sick after eating, and the doctors told her it was something she would have to try to live with because there was no cure.

Josh and Jenna started experimenting with CBD Oils in 2016 after reading a few articles online on how they can help with various ailments. Jenna experienced some sense of relief, but it wasn’t enough. Josh set out to find the purest form of CBD to help Jenna. He discovered it on a farm in Kentucky. Josh brought back home samples for her to try in the hopes of finding the elusive link in her health problem. Jenna tried the CBD oils and hoped for positive results as well. She started to feel better after just a couple of hours of using the CBD oils. Her health started to improve within a week. She no longer had any symptoms from what she thought was a debilitating illness after a month.

Jenna went from being optimistic to being ecstatically motivated. She also threatened Josh that if he didn’t bring the product out to the masses, she would—with or without him. The product was THAT good. He agreed to market the products to the masses, and the two collaborated to form HempWorx.

In May of 2017, HempWorx was launched as a product line under MyDailyChoice. MyDailyChoice has risen to the top as one of the fastest-growing MLMs in Network Marketing since the launch of HempWorx.

How Much Does It Cost To Join HempWorx?

When it comes to signing up for the “HempWorx business opportunity,” there are many different business opportunities for distributors, much as for many other MLM groups, and it gets confusing easily.

You can start with as little as $59 with the “Entry Pack of Pet Products at $39 + $20 Distributors Fee,” but the “Executive Pack at $599 and $20 Distributors Fee” might cost you as much as $619, as seen in the image below. It would help if you continued to buy a pack every month, regardless of whether you need it or not, much like many other MLMs.

HempWorx claims to be an associate model, but as you can see by the prices below, the fact that you must recruit people to your “team” and the fact that you must purchase a product from

Affiliate Join Options

the company before you can make money from them, it’s clear that this is an MLM business model rather than an affiliate model.

Can I Really Make Money With HempWorx?

This is dependent on your intention.  Are you just interested in buying their products as a buyer to earn discounts? Or are you also interested in earning more from their business opportunity as well? If you are more inclined towards the business aspect, then there are two ways to make money with this MLM, as with most MLMs of this nature:

  1.  Selling their products
  2.  Enlisting other distributors

Given the information that I have presented earlier, let’s talk now about the business opportunity that the company is promoting…

Is HempWorx an Affiliate Marketing Business or MLM?

As I first began researching this business opportunity, I found something that was misleading. It said that you were signing up to be a HempWorx affiliate on the business opportunity page. This will lead you to believe that HempWorx is an affiliate marketing company.

I soon discovered that the “business opportunity” is not an affiliate program after reading a little deeper about it. Instead, it’s an MLM company attempting to make it seem as though you’re operating as an affiliate marketer rather than creating an MLM company. I’m not certain why the company is trying to phrase it this way, but it definitely raises a red flag for me.

What Is Affiliate Marketing?

Affiliate marketing is actually selling third-party product owners’ products and services, which is normally done entirely digitally these days.

The product owner sends the affiliate a referral link, and when someone clicks on it and then makes a purchase, the affiliate is paid a commission.

As an affiliate marketer, you have the freedom to promote and sell a wide range of products and services, thus earning commissions from each. Often affiliate marketers choose a selection of products that all fall into a single category, appealing to a group of people who have that same interest. You don’t sign up exclusively for one company.

Affiliate Program versus MLM

Affiliate Program versus MLM

Affiliate marketing is a great way to supplement your income if you’re looking for a way to make some extra income. Some people confuse affiliate marketing with multi-level marketing, which is unfortunate. This confusion prevents some people from pursuing what might otherwise be a fun and profitable side business.

Affiliate marketing services, unlike MLM companies, are free to join and do not ask you to recruit others into a “network.” Understanding the distinctions between affiliate marketing and multi-level marketing will help you see how the latter will lead to a respectable income.

Is HempWorx A Scam? Is It A Pyramid Scheme?

No, Hempworx isn’t a pyramid scheme. Their MLM affiliates can make money by selling CBD products without having to recruit people. ” Is HempWorx a scam, a pyramid scheme in disguise?” is a more reasonable question for MLM companies like this.

What is a pyramid scheme?

Rather than providing investments or selling products, a pyramid scheme recruits members by promising payments or services to enroll others into the scheme. When the number of recruits grows, it becomes harder to recruit, and most members cannot profit. As a result, pyramid schemes are unsustainable and frequently illegal.

The majority of MLM companies do sell legitimate products and services. Some MLMs, however, use their products to disguise the fact that they are nothing more than a pyramid scheme. This often happens when recruiting people is the best way to make any decent profit and not lose money. These companies generally have high-priced products and high monthly sales quotas to meet.

Now back to HempWorx…..

Is HempWorx a pyramid scheme “in disguise”?

At first glance, I presumed HempWorx didn’t need you to fulfill any monthly sales quota.  Personally, this is such a good indicator that an MLM company isn’t just a pyramid scheme in disguise.

When you read the fine print of their compensation plan, though, you’ll notice…

“To be considered active, you only need a minimum of 40BV, however; you can maximize the compensation plan with a minimum of 90BV.” (See picture below)

HempWorx Compensation Plan Overview

At first, this seemed to be a “you don’t have to sell a certain amount if you only want to be an affiliate” statement.

However, after doing some more research, I discovered that to stay active and make money through commissions from sales, you really must sell 40BV (at least $69) per month. This means that if you don’t get to sell this much in a month, you’ll have to buy the equivalent amount of products yourself to keep your account active.

HempWorx Compensation Plan

I’ve studied many multilevel marketing companies, and you know what they all have in common? They’ve all devised a complicated compensation plan. They are challenging to comprehend, particularly for those who are not mathematicians. And HempWorx is no different.

So I’ll try to make things as short as possible in this Hempworx review…

To make money with Hempworx as an affiliate, the entity can compensate you in eight ways:

  1. Retail commission (25%)
  2. Jumpstart bonus
  3. Binary commissions
  4. Leadership check matching
  5. Global bonus pool
  6. Rank bonuses
  7. VIP auto club
  8. Elite expense accounts

Pros and Cons of HempWorx:

Pros

  • CBD-based products are rapidly gaining popularity. When new research becomes available, they are likely to grow in popularity as a natural medication in the future. It’s worth noting, though, that some people have questioned the quality of HempWorx products.
  • HempWorx is a relatively new multilevel marketing entity. It’s much easier to make money with a younger MLM than with one that has been around for a long time.

Cons

  • Although there is a less expensive option to start with this community, it is important to note that you must continue purchasing products every before you can earn some money. Buying products month after month when you’re just getting started with your MLM could easily become prohibitively costly.
  • CBD-containing products are still considered illegal in some states and countries.

Customer Hempworx Reviews

Below are some sample customer reviews I have taken from the Amazon website. This should give you an idea of the product quality and potential complaints against them:

Positive Reviews

“This oil has helped me with my fear and insomnia. I put a dropper full under my tongue 30 minutes before bedtime, and I’ve slept best in months. It actually aids in the shutting down of my subconscious, which is a difficult task. The money spent on this hemp oil was well spent. I’m certainly going to buy some more.”

– Melody Lessel

I have constant back pain (even after surgery) and swelling of my ankles and feet. I’m having more pain relief for longer periods of time after I started using HempWorx CBD Oil, and the swelling of my ankles and feet has significantly decreased! I will continue to use it because it is so easy to use, and I highly recommend the app!

– Norma Huffaker

Negative Reviews

“I experimented with various dosing methods. A total of four drops, half a ml, and a full ml were used. There are no advantages to be found. It doesn’t make you relax, it doesn’t help with pain, and it hasn’t helped with anxiety. CBD and hemp are not the same thing.”

– billy johnson 21

“It smells like sunflower with a hint of hemp. Which leads you to believe that the oil has been adequately diluted.”

– Amber

Recommendation

Although HempWorx is not an MLM scam and it is possible to make money online, statistics show that only a small percentage of distributors in most MLMs earn enough to support themselves full-time, particularly after expenses (and the company clearly and consistently communicates the importance of investing in your company as a distributor). However, HempWorx may be a good way to supplement your pre-existing income.

HempWorx is comparable to buying a state lottery ticket if you’re hoping for a full-time income with minimal expenses.  If you use HempWorx products and would like a discount and have a few friends who would like to buy, it might be a good way to save money and gain extra cash.
