Karatbars International

Karatbars International Review: Scam or Legit Business Opportunity?

What Is Karatbars International?

Karatbars International GMBH is a multilevel marketing company that sells small gold bars and gold bullion gifts.

Karatbars is unlike any other MLM company because its main product is gold.

While they do not refer to themselves as an MLM and would rather be thought of as an e-commerce company with an affiliate program, they appear to be an MLM.

Most people associate multilevel marketing (MLM) with selling products to friends and family and hosting house “parties.”

To meet with legal regulations, an MLM requires you to purchase a product or service. Karatbar, on the other hand, does not need you to buy anything; all it asks is that you propose a product for your own financial stability.

The headquarters and logistics center of Karatbars International is located in Stuttgart, Germany. Support, marketing, customer and partner communication, order execution, and delivery are all handled by this department. The headquarters also coordinates the development of new countries around Europe.

Consumers may purchase 999.9 pure gold bullion, as well as gold merchandise, collector’s products, and gift cards from Karatbars in an appealing and affordable way.

However, they are TOO difficult to work with, and all orders take FOREVER to process.

Not to mention the fact that you have little possibility of ever earning a regular income.

What’s my take?

You’d be better off learning a system that allows you to make mostly passive income without having to beg friends and family to buy from you.

In fact, you’ll see the exact system many have used to build their internet marketing business to over $40,000 a month in mostly passive income.

Karatbars Company And Founder History

Harald Seiz, CEO of Karatbars International, founded Karatbars International GmbH in Stuttgart, Germany, in 2011. Over the years, he has successfully and consistently internationalized Karatbars.

Dr. Harald Seiz was born in 1963 in the German town of Calw near Stuttgart and has worked as a financial and investment advisor since 1983.

Before entering the precious metals industry in 2008, he worked in real estate, insurance, and finance.

In 2016, the Federal Association for Economic Development and Foreign Trade (BWA) bestowed senatorial honors on Mr. Seiz.

Mr. Seiz is a driven entrepreneur with in-depth knowledge of global financial markets. Since 2016, he has been devoting himself to a topic that some consider outdated: gold as a viable investment.

This concept has since become visible in the product portfolio of Karatbars International, with the following philosophy:

As a stable, long-term investment, gold should be available to as many people as possible.

What Does Karatbars International Sell?

Karatbars sells gold bars and gift items in the following gold bullion denominations with a purity of 24 karats 999.9% gold:

  • One gram
  • 2.5 grams
  • 5 grams

They are fully insured and delivered to the customer’s address on time and with dependability. These gold bars are manufactured in Turkey.

Individual gold bars bear a trademark symbol as well as the quality assurance firm’s imprint. Hologram stickers are provided on the reverse side of the plastic card for added security.

Classic cards are also available from Karatbats and are one of their most popular products. Classic cards are made up of one gram gold pieces that are attached to a high-quality card.

Karatbars prefer small or light-weight objects because they are easier to transact with and can be used as a means of exchange and payment.

Another popular product in the Karatbars line is the Collector Karatbar. Karatbars are gold nugget-encrusted cards.

Collect Karatbars are only for the most earnest collectors. Collections named after famous athletes, historical events, and celebrities are examples of special collections. Some are limited editions, and their prices will almost certainly rise over time.

If you want to exchange your gold for cash, you can do so at any registered K-Exchange center or with Karatbars at their “daily guaranteed buyback price.”

What Are KCB Coins? Is KCB A Good Investment?

THE KARATGOLD COIN (KBC) is a blockchain-based cryptocurrency intended to be used as a widely accepted electronic payment method for all who regard gold as a traditional, true, secure, and value-stable medium.

Mixed Reactions On KBC Investment

KBC Coin is a good investment because it is backed by gold.

However, some analysts believe it is a poor long-term (1-year) investment due to its low market capitalization. The KBC price is easily manipulated due to its low market capitalization, making it a high-risk investment option.

Others predict that the Karatgold Coin’s price will fall from 0.00550 USD to 0.000561 USD. This equates to a -89.796 percent change, indicating it as a bad investment.

As a result, the analogy and prediction that it would eventually replace or surpass bitcoin may be unrealistic.

The KBC coin may crash during the weak market cycle due to its low price and limited market capitalization. As a result, if current market circumstances persist, it may take more than a year to reach $1.

On the other hand, proponents argue that investing in KBC coins has a high chance of profit. The character of the cryptocurrency is wavy, based on daily rates over the last six months. As a result, the KBC coin has a significant possibility of reaching near-all-time highs in the future.

The KaratGold Coin meets global needs because it is a sort of cryptonyzed gold. A particular number of KBC coins can be traded for genuine gold. Each coin is worth a fictitious amount of gold. In the future, it will also be exchangeable for all fiat and cryptocurrencies.

The KBC Coin is a low-cost, borderless, and secure cryptocurrency that can be transferred in real-time. Because gold has a long history and is well-known for its stability, its value is predictable. As a result, the KaratGold Coin may gain widespread acceptance worldwide. As a result, the cryptocurrency’s market capitalization may increase in the future, making it an excellent investment now.

Is Karatbars A Legit MLM? Or Is Karatbars A Scam?

Bruce Whitfield of The Money Show has a scam pyramid interview with personal finance expert Warren Ingram. Warren Ingram is the Executive Director at Galileo Capital:

“They’re talking to desperate people… It’s very hazy… Criminals will profit from this… Take extreme caution. There are numerous ways to purchase gold through established channels…”
  • Warren Ingram Galileo Capital

Bruce Whitfield also interviewed a listener who attended a Karatbars conference in Cape Town:

I was invited to the conference… It was a strange affair… It was very theatrical… it was a frenzy… pumping music… energizing people… Then there was a grand entrance – everyone began chanting – and then Harald Seiz, the CEO, stepped in… It was as if the Messiah had entered the room. There was a great deal of emotional fervour… It was like being on stage with a rockstar…
  • Susan, a Karatbars Conference Delegate

Bruce Whitfield also spoke with Tony De Gouveia, one of Karatbars International’s main South African affiliates:

No, it’s not a pyramid scheme … Karatbars won a court case in Canada…
I get paid because people in the network buys the product… I would guess more than 10,000 people in South Africa are in Karatbars, buying gold.

Is Karatbars A Pyramid Scheme?

In Namibia

The Bank of Namibia has labeled Karatbars International as a pyramid scam.

Namibia’s primary financial regulator is the Bank of Namibia (BON).

An investigation into Karatbars International proved it was a pyramid scheme, according to the BON in a press statement.

According to the Banking Institutions Act, pyramid schemes are unlawful in Namibia.

The NOB has ordered Karatbars International and its promoters to stop conducting business in Namibia because it is a pyramid scheme.

In South Africa

South Africa’s FSCA (Financial Sector Conduct Authority) has abandoned its efforts to regulate Karatbars International in a startling U-turn.

Karatbars informed the FSCA in November 2019 that it markets two products in South Africa: gold bullion and a crypto-asset to be released at a later date, in response to the FSCA’s initial securities fraud warning.

Karatbars and its affiliates actively pushed their KBC “shitcoin” (as low value coins are referred to as) as a passive investment possibility, prompting the FSCA to issue the warning.

The FSCA seems to have taken the company’s claim at face values instead of investigating Karatbars’ claims, which would have quickly disclosed KBC promotional dates at least July 2018.

The (FSCA) stated in a December 13, 2019 update that neither of Karatbars’ products fell under the definition of a financial product or service.

As a result, they are not registered with the FSCA and are therefore not subject to their jurisdiction.

A German watchdog ordered Karatbars to close down its blockchain-based business in 2019 after allegations that it was luring customers into a pyramid scheme.

In Canada

Karatbars International was issued a securities fraud warning by the Ontario Securities Commission in July 2020.

The OSC warns that Karatbars International and Karatbit (including Karatbit Exchange) are not registered or recognized in Ontario, Canada to trade securities or facilitate transactions (including buying and selling securities).

Karatbars International had previously been warned by Canada’s AMF of securities fraud in March 2014. As a result, an outright ban was imposed in 2016.

The most recent warning from the OSC appears to be a reiteration that Karatbars International is still illegally soliciting investment from Canadian citizens.

What Happened To Karatbars International?

Following regulatory warnings in recent years and those from Namibia, Germany, South Africa, and New Zealand, Karatbars announced that it would change its name to Freebay in September 2020.

The reboot follows the disastrous 2019 KaratGold Coin Ponzi coin launch, which resulted in widespread investor losses.

V999, a new Ponzi token that Karatbars will use to defraud investors, is now available on Freebay. The KaratGold Coin (KBC) has been phased out.

Can You Make Money In Karatbars Compensation Plan?

There are several ways to earn money In Karatbars’ compensation plan:

Package Commission

Distributors receive commissions for each new package sold to a distributor they recruited.

  • Silver package commission: 60 EUR (around $70).
  • Bronze package commission: 150 EUR (around $170).
  • Gold package commission: 300 EUR (around $340).

Unilevel Commission

Unilevel commissions are given to distributors based on their rank as a percentage of the money spent by distributors they recruited below them.

The unilevel commission rate for a distributor is 0.5%, with a maximum commission rate of 5.5%.

Binary Commission

Thanks to a binary compensation structure, distributors are paid binary commissions based on how much their downline spends.

After each leg has sold a certain number of units, they are distributed generationally.

Worldwide Turnover Bonus

It’s unclear how this fund is transferred to distributors, and their compensation plan doesn’t provide any information.

It seems to be a percentage bonus pool made up of 95 cents for every gram of gold sold by Karatbars.

Gold Pool

This pool represents 1% of Karatbars International’s lump-sum gold purchases, which I believe covers both package purchases and gold transactions totaling more than 50 EUR ($55).

To be eligible for the gold pool, a distributor must have three unilevel legs that each generated at least 9000 points.

The number of Gold Pool shares that distributors are eligible for is determined by dividing the points by 1000.

The compensation plan for Karatbars is 25 pages long and quite complicated. You can only imagine the information that a sales representative or distributor would need to share to close the deal.

Sounds complicated right?

Yes, it certainly does… That’s because it’s true.

Money shouldn’t be this tough to get, and it certainly shouldn’t be this complicated to determine how much you’re owed!

That’s why we’ve partnered with our #1 recommendation for online education. You learn a simple and straightforward business model that can literally get you money tomorrow!

How Much Does It Cost To Join Karatbars?

Karatbars membership is free, but you must purchase one of their packages to benefit from their commissions.

The cost of each package increases depending on the content, product, and added features you choose.

  • Bronze Package – $135
  • Silver Package – $350
  • Gold Package – $800
  • VIP Package – $2,000

The amount of money you’ll make per cycle is the most important difference between the packages. With the bronze package, you’ll make roughly $10. With the VIP, you’ll make more than $100.

Is Karatbars International Still Banned In Canada?

Karatbars are still illegal in Canada, according to research.

Karatbars International was issued a securities fraud notice by the Ontario Securities Commission as recently as July 2020.

Karatbars Scam Review: Is It Worth Investing In Karatbars Gold Bars?

Gold, according to Investopedia, is a good investment.

It claims that gold:
  1. Holds its value well over time, especially when the value of the US dollar falls (as it did in 2008).
  2. Is one of the most effective ways to protect against inflation.
  3. Is virtually immune to political problems.
  4. Demand for gold will only increase.

By selling solid gold bars in very small denominations, Karatbars makes gold investment accessible to almost everyone.

Unlike most people, who start with an ounce, Karatbars allows you to buy as little as one gram of gold.

In comparison, the Karatbars rate for one gram of 24K gold is around 60 EUR or $66 USD. What is the current price of 24K gold on the market? The cost per gram is around $40 USD.

Karatbars is increasing their gold prices by 50%. In other words, there is no reason to buy gold from Karatbars regularly. The only reason to purchase gold from Karatbars is to join their affiliate program.

The problem here is that Karatbars does not have a solid product.

They use a smokescreen to hide the fact that Karatbars MLM is nothing more than an affiliate scheme in which a new recruit sends money up to the founders, who then distribute a portion of the profit to an older affiliate.

As a result, this MLM company is on the verge of becoming a pyramid scheme.

What Is Our Top Recommendation For Making Money Online In 2021?

Our review team has come across a program in the real estate industry that is next level!

Although it’s not real estate in the traditional sense, it’s all digital.

Yup, Digital Real Estate!

Where Karatbars falls short is in scalability.

There’s only so much time in a day and there’s only so many people you can reach to sell by yourself.

MLM companies know this! Which is why they push so hard for you to recruit for your downline…you can’t get rich with it as a one man/woman show.

But what if you could make even more money off of little local websites without having to spend hundreds of dollars on overpriced products and a bunch of time recruiting people to sell under you?

With this digital real estate program, you can make recurring monthly income without constant sales to your friends and constant recruitment!

Sound too good to be true? Of course it does! But it isn’t…in fact, business owners wish they had this skill!

All you have to do is build and rank a LOCAL website and forward the jobs off to a business owner in town, you could even email it to them!

This works for literally any service based business, tree service, plumbing, towing, etc.

How do you get paid and how much?

Simple, after you forward the jobs off to a business owner and he makes some money off of them, you simply ask to make the deal beneficial for each other.

A fair price to charge per lead, depending on the industry is 10-20%…let’s just use the tree service industry for example and go by worst case scenario.

Let’s say you build and rank the site and only 10 jobs a month come in. The average tree service job is anywhere from $500-$2000!

That means at bare minimum you have an asset worth $500 a month!

See why they call it digital real estate now? That’s a rent payment.

The great thing is how easy it is to scale. You don’t have to worry about:

  • Your upline getting paid before you
  • Begging your friends and family to buy from you
  • Recruiting people all the time

Remember Karatbars? You only get what’s left of the pie if you meet a monthly quota…

The course we recommend actually allows you to collect HUGE FLAT RATE DEALS. Truly passive income!

The training program takes making money online to a whole other level. The owner of the program walks you through how to build and rank a site hand in hand, with the occasional voice over when he is sharing his screen.

You will learn the importance of keywords, website name, how to send call notifications via email, backlinking, etc.

Once the training program is completed you will also have access to a Facebook group much better than the Karatbars MLM in our opinion. This group is much more active.

Unlike Karatbars, where you’re getting maybe $10 per sale, you could be getting 10-20X THAT.

A business will always want more leads and another job. In fact it doesn’t even matter that the job isn’t coming from their website name…they see it as it is…expanding digital real estate.

Unlike Karatbars, more people have been able to walk away from their 9-5 job as well.

Digital real estate allows you to have total passive income with most of your day being spent WITH your friends, NOT selling to them.

Now, I know you probably have tons of questions…
