LimeLife MLM Review: Is The LimeLife Business Right For You?

LimeLife by Alcone

What Is LimeLife MLM?

It’s yet another MLM (aka Network Marketing, aka Pyramid Scheme) program whose main goal is to get you to sign up, buy a product kit, and then encourage your friends, family, and coworkers to do the same.

To be honest, almost every high-level MLM member who promotes it only gets paid through their affiliate links.

Yes, you read that correctly…

It claims to teach you how to be a successful “Network Marketer,” yet most members rarely make any money promoting their own products.

That is the truth…

A little 30% profit on an overpriced bottle of skincare or multivitamins will not make you wealthy.

If you want to really get rich online, (at an average of $1,500 per sale PER MONTH), check out our #1 recommendation here.

Now, to be completely honest here…

LimeLife does include some quite useful advice on how to generate money online and earn excellent commission checks…

But it’s a tad out of date!

Lastly, I’ll address some of the most common questions about LimeLife and network marketing in general.

And most importantly, I’ll show you the exact system I used to build my own internet marketing business to over $40,000 a month in mostly passive income.

This system made me swear off Network Marketing for good, because it uses some of the same skills but in a much more powerful and profitable way!

But more on that later…

For now let’s hop into all things LimeLife!

LimeLife Review

LimeLife is a multi-level marketing company that sells skin care and makeup products as a business opportunity.

In this LimeLife review, I’ll discuss the company’s structure, product range, and, most importantly, whether or not this MLM is a pyramid scheme like the majority of MLMs today.

We’ll also discuss whether network marketing is the perfect type of online business for you.

What Is LimeLife By Alcone?

What Is LimeLife By Alcone

Alcone renamed the product LimeLife after it was previously known as LimeLight.

Since its debut in 1952, it has been an MLM company specializing in skincare and cosmetics.

This is almost 70 years.

But, just because LimeLife has been around longer than Rock & Roll, does it make it trustworthy?

LimeLife used to give out cosmetics to celebrities, makeup artists and others in the entertainment industry.

It has grown, renamed, reorganized, and added new items to the product range since then.

Although this brand is fresh, the company remains the same. They’ve gone through several rebranding’s, the most recent of which was in 2018.

What is LimeLife

I’m a little curious as to why they had to rebrand so many times. When a business rebrands, it’s usually because its previous identity isn’t attracting customers.

That, or to avoid getting a poor reputation for scamming others.

Hmm?

Are LimeLife’s Products Worth The Price?

The price of the product varies between $20 and $150.

LimeLife by Alcone claims that its skincare and cosmetics are produced entirely of organic and natural ingredients, with no chemicals or dangerous additives.

I’m not sure whether this is true because I’ve seen a lot of concerns and issues with the “all natural” claim.

In addition, I believe LimeLife’s products are a little pricey. Due of the commissions paid to MLM downlines, they are most likely overpriced.

The LimeLife MLM Business Opportunity

LimeLife by Alcone, a network marketing company, offers two ways to make money.

The first is that when you join LimeLife by Alcone, you become a “Beauty Guide” who sells LimeLife by Alcone’s beauty and skincare products and recruits people to join the MLM company.

The second is when you recruit others to do the same.

Does this sound familiar?

To begin marketing the products as a “Beauty Guide,” you would need to purchase a starter kit. The starter kits are divided into two categories, which I will go over in the following section.

To sign up, go to their website and fill out their registration form.

How Much Does It Cost To Join LimeLife?

LimeLife by Alcone comes in two different starter kits:

  • The Business Starter Kit is available in one variant for $99.
  • The Silver Business Starter Kit comes in four variations and costs $169. This starter kit comes with four options for you to choose from.

Take a look at the screenshots of these starter kits below. You would need one as a LimeLife beauty consultant.

You can select either the Business Starter Kit or the Silver Business Starter Kit for $169 if you have the budget and will need to purchase it in your first year. The silver kit has the advantage of allowing you to select from four different variations.

If you visit their website, you will notice that you must first purchase a starter kit before being directed to their registration form.

Let’s take a look at how much it will cost you for just the first year.

  • Business Starter Kit for $99 + Website fees for a year for $119.40 This works out to a total cost of $218.40 for the first year of operation when using the basic business starter kit.
  • Silver Business Starter Kit @ $169 + Website Fees for 12 Months @ $119.40 = $288.40 for your first year using the Silver Business Starter Kit.

To be honest, the fees aren’t all that expensive…

My main concern is not the fees themselves, but the “cost” of working as a beauty guide in this MLM business scheme.

They’d expect you to throw “home parties,” which aren’t cheap. In most cases, the first potential prospects you meet at these home parties will be your friends and family. And it frequently has unfavorable outcomes.

Aside from that, as with most MLMs, you will almost certainly receive follow-up calls from your upline, which are commonly very forceful and pushy.

They would even tell them to “stop being lazy,” according to some of the stories I’ve heard.

This, along with other factors, is one of the main reasons why the majority of their beauty guides cancel or leave the program.

MLM isn’t the best business model, in my opinion (and I’m pretty sure most people will agree).

Can You Really Make Money With LimeLife?

You certainly can…

However, there is a lot that comes with MLM that many people struggle with.

In fact, check out these Top 5 Reason Why Most Network Marketers Fail.

Don’t get me wrong…

You can certainly make money with MLM, but if you’re going to put in the effort to learn the ropes (which, believe me, isn’t easy), you might as well make some REAL money while you’re at it.

The program that helped skyrocket my online business to $40,000+ per month is so simple that making money really does become second nature.

If you join the LimeLife MLM, you will have the opportunity to earn up to 35% commissions.

However, you will not be able to obtain this right away. You’d have to look at their compensation plan to see what I mean.

If you choose to lead a team, you will also receive a percentage of your team’s overall sales.

You can view their compensation plan PDF to see your potential earnings for each sale you make, including what you can make off of the sales of others.

To give you an idea of how a LimeLife by Alcone beauty guide is compensated, here are 9 different ways:

  1. Base Commission
  2. Fast Start Incentives
  3. Enhanced Commission
  4. Direct Enroller Bonus
  5. Certified Mentor Bonus
  6. Leadership Bonus
  7. Leader Generation Bonus
  8. Executive Bonuses
  9. Car/ Lifestyle Bonus

It is entirely up to you whether you want to work as a full-time or part-time beauty guide. Here’s a quick guide to getting started:

  1. The first step is to select a starter kit. Do you want to go with the $99-Business Starter Kit or the Silver Business Starter Kit, which includes four variants for only $169? The Silver Kit comes in four different shades: light, medium, dark, and deep. Both starter kits include useful resources to help you get started.
  2. The next step is to complete your online registration form. You will be setting up your replicated website here, which is a clear red flag.
  3. Accepting and consenting to their rules and regulations is the third step.

LimeLife By Alcone Red Flags

The first red flag is unquestionably their lack of transparency. They don’t say how much your potential income would be if you chose to lead a team.

I don’t personally like MLM and I’m not going to spend my money on it, so I can’t really confirm if they do provide this information.

LimeLife’s second red flag is the “replicated” website.

To give you an example, consider the following:

  • How will you get people to visit that site?
  • I can assure you that the SEO will be terrible.
  • Will you need to blog in order to generate traffic?
  • Perhaps you could use social media?
  • If so, why not pay for PPC ads?

LimeLife MLM Complaints

I’ve noticed a lot of concerning complaints from Beauty Guides, both about the MLM business scheme and the products they sell.

When people cancel, it appears that the LimeLife MLM scheme does not want to refund them.

I’ve seen a number of complaints from guides who tried to cancel before the next billing cycle, only to be billed for several months afterward.

Limelife’s usual excuse?

It’s the contract that members sign when they join, as well as several other excuses, despite the fact that many of their beauty guides have canceled.

Despite their beauty guides’ numerous cancellation requests, LimeLife continues to bill them month after month. If you ask me, that’s just plain sneaky and wrong.

The screenshots below are from Better Business Bureau (BBB) complaints about LimeLife by Alcone.

While the complaints above are about the MLM scheme, the complaint below is about the products and comes from a woman who may need to see a dermatologist after using their cosmetics.

These are just a few examples of complaints about Alcone’s LimeLife. Unfortunately, there is a lot more information on the Better Business Bureau website.

Pros and Cons

Pros Of LimeLife MLM

  1. Their online application process is simple, with only three steps. You can choose between their two tiers of startup kits, the $99 Business Starter Kit and the $169 Silver Business Kit. The starting packages include a variety of cosmetics as well as some instructions.
  2. I believe that the cost of getting started with LimeLife’s MLM business opportunity is reasonable. It’s also worth noting that membership in the Beauty Guide costs $75 per year. You will also be charged a monthly fee of $9.95 for each replicated website.
  3. Training is always helpful, regardless of the type of business you pursue. I’m not sure how useful or comprehensive LimeLife’s MLM training is, though, since I’m not interested in becoming one of their beauty guides…

Cons Of LimeLife MLM

  1. It will be difficult to sell and recruit new recruits to build your downline using the MLM business model.
  2. According to some of the complaints I’ve read, canceling your LimeLife MLM membership appears to be a hard process.
  3. After using LimeLife by Alcone products, some people report a negative reaction to their skin. Limelife by Alcone makes bold claims that their products are chemical-free, but some argue that they are not because the products have negative effects on their customers’ skin.
  4. It is impossible to expect replicated websites to rank. To rank well and drive targeted traffic to your business, you’ll need to put in a lot of effort by creating a lot of optimized content. Rather than joining an MLM, you could build a website for an affiliate marketing business.
  5. An annual fee of $75 is required to maintain your membership in this MLM scheme. In addition, there is a monthly website fee of $9.95. Total annual cost – $9.95 x 12 = $119.40 Add $75 to get a total of 194.40. There is also a monthly sales requirement of $300 to keep your membership as a beauty guide active.

Is LimeLife A Pyramid Scheme Or A Scam?

To start off, LimeLife by Alcone is not a scam; it is a legitimate MLM company that has been in operation since 1952.

The majority of multi-level marketing companies have good, and sometimes even great, product lines.

However, this is not a sufficient reason to join any MLM.

A Ponzi Scheme, also known as a pyramid scheme, involves recruiting people in order to make money. That means that if you want to make a good living, you’ll need to build a team of downlines by recruiting.

Of course, building a profitable, successful network marketing business is entirely POSSIBLE… However, there are better ways to build a business than Network Marketing or MLM.

My #1 pick proves this.

Because, unlike network marketing, it provides real proof of real success from real people just a few days ago.

The same applies today to every recruit you bring into your downline.

As a result, recruitment is the primary method for any MLM business model to work – that is, to make a significant profit.

Nowadays, you simply cannot call any company fraud or a scam because doing so could land you in hot water if the MLM company decides to sue you.

So, to be clear, I do not personally recommend LimeLife by Alcone or any MLM business.

Recruiting is a difficult task, and if you aren’t up for it, your time and money will be wasted.

Most people do not want to put themselves under the pressure of building a downline. After all, not every prospect is an excellent salesperson. Even if they do try to become one, it will be a difficult road for them.

Maintaining a monthly sales quota is one thing, but recruiting is another.

Imagine pressuring people to buy your products in order to meet the $300 minimum sales requirement. Some beauty guides will even spam potential customers in order to make a sale.

Consider having to beg people to buy from you just so you can meet your financial needs.

But don’t get me wrong: I’m not saying you shouldn’t give LimeLife a shot. It’s best to do your research before jumping into any money-making online opportunity, which you’re already doing.

There are other business models that can help you make money. that you must investigate in order to make an informed decision.

What Is Our Top Recommendation For Making Money Online?

make money online

Our review team has come across a program in the real estate industry that is next level!

Although it’s not real estate in the traditional sense, it’s all digital.

Yup, Digital Real Estate!

Where LimeLife falls short in helping you make money online is in scalability.

There’s only so much time in a day and there’s only so many people you can reach to sell by yourself.

MLM companies know this!

Which is why they push so hard for you to recruit for your downline…you can’t get rich with it as a one man/woman show.

But what if you could make even more money off of little local websites without having to spend hundreds of dollars on overpriced products and a bunch of time recruiting people to sell under you?

With this digital real estate program, you can make recurring monthly income without constant sales to your friends and constant recruitment!

Sound too good to be true?

Of course it does!

But it isn’t…in fact, business owners wish they had this skill!

All you have to do is build and rank a LOCAL website and forward the jobs off to a business owner in town, you could even email it to them!

This works for literally any service based business:

  • tree service
  • plumbing
  • towing
  • painting
  • landscaping etc.

How do you get paid and how much?

Simple, after you forward the jobs off to a business owner and he makes some money off of them, you simply ask to make the deal beneficial for each other.

A fair price to charge per lead, depending on the industry is 10-20%…let’s just use the tree service industry for example and go by worst case scenario.

Let’s say you build and rank the site and only 10 jobs a month come in. The average tree service job is anywhere from $500-$2000!

That means at bare minimum you have an asset worth $500 a month!

See why they call it digital real estate now? That’s a rent payment.

The great thing is how easy it is to scale. You don’t have to worry about:

  • Your upline getting paid before you
  • Begging your friends and family to buy from you
  • Recruiting people all the time

But as it is with LimeLife… You only get what’s left of the pie if you meet a monthly quota…

The course we recommend actually allows you to collect HUGE FLAT RATE DEALS. Truly passive income!

The training program takes making money online to a whole other level. The owner of the program walks you through how to build and rank a site hand in hand, with the occasional voice over when he is sharing his screen.

You will learn the importance of keywords, website name, how to send call notifications via email, backlinking, etc.

Once the training program is completed you will also have access to a Facebook group much better than the LimeLife group in our opinion. This group is much more active.

Unlike LimeLife, where you’re getting maybe $10 per sale, you could be getting 10-20X THAT.

Scott is crushing it!

A business will always want more leads and another job. In fact it doesn’t even matter that the job isn’t coming from their website name…they see it as it is…expanding digital real estate.

Unlike LimeLife, more people have been able to walk away from their 9-5 job as well.

Digital real estate allows you to have total passive income with most of your day being spent WITH your friends, NOT selling to them.

Now, I know you probably have tons of questions…

So, check this out to learn more.
