Is Pampered Chef An MLM Company?
Yes, it is a legit multilevel marketing company and they don’t try to hide it.
Oh well, we’re all familiar with this one!
If you’re like me, you remember your mother and her friends throwing pampered chef parties all the time when you were a kid.
My mom would always be running around the kitchen, busy preparing the house and her products ready for the party so she could make more money.
Despite the fact that the pampered chef MLM has been out for a while, it still manages to attract middle-aged women by promising a possible luxurious lifestyle.
Warren Buffet’s and the Berkshire Hathaway corporation’s involvement with the multilevel marketing organization was one of the things that drew our attention enough to do this review.
We’re going to review Pampered Chef to decide if it really is the best Network Marketing company out there.
We’ll talk about whether Network Marketing is the right online business for you.
At the end, I’ll answer some of the most frequently asked questions regarding Pampered Chef and MLM in general.
But most importantly, I’ll show you the exact system I used to build my own internet marketing business to over $40,000 a month in mostly passive income.
This system made me swear off MLMs for good, because it uses some of the same skills but in a much more powerful and profitable way!
So let’s jump in…
What Is Pampered Chef?
Pampered Chef is an mlm (multi level marketing) company established by Doris Christopher. It took the markets by storm in the 1990s and has continued to develop ever since.
It’s also not surprising that it’s been financially successful… Doris Christopher has a background in economics and money management.
The company’s network marketing get-togethers, called “pampered chef parties” or “pc parties” in text lingo, focus on selling kitchen equipment directly to friends and families.
Some of these things are neat, while others not so much, and some can be found on the sale rack at Walmart for pretty cheap.
How Does Pampered Chef Work?
Pampered Chef makes a large portion of income by having their consultants market their kitchen products to their friends and families. It also earns a buck or two through guest appearances on TV shows.
The goal of a Pampered Chef party or TV appearance is to show how valuable Pampered Chef products are in everyday life. Some of them are life changing… Other products, not so much.
It’s interesting to see how a product works when a team of people is cooking and showing the product’s functioning on television.
You will likely be given a Pampered Chef catalog during these events, from which you can purchase some of these items.
Another way Pampered Chef consultants make money is by creating an affiliate website where they may earn commissions on sales. Amazon has also proven to be successful.
Also, consultants can hire additional consultants to work under them and help them earn even more money based on the sales they make. This is where multilevel marketing comes into play.
Frankly speaking, that part isn’t fun, and it’s one of the reasons why the mlm company has a bad reputation.
Pampered Chef Products
One thing we can say about the Pampered Chef network marketing company is that they have a large choice of products!
We’re talking about Pampered Chef cookbooks, kitchen items, food products, and more!
Pampered Chef focuses on a variety of products, including multi-use utensils. They cater to someone’s wish for a kitchen tool that is all-in-one.
Plus, they back up all of their items with a full one-year warranty!
Here are some of the most popular products Pampered Chef offers are as follows:
- Stoneware Bakeware
- Teak Wooden Spoon
- Cut-N-Seal Maker Tart
- Pizza and Crust Cutter
- Mini Tart Shaper
- beer bread mix
- gardening tools
- kitchen tools
- food products
In fact, I love buying Pampered Chef products mainly because I love to cook… but I’m really not all that fond of the MLM side of the business. It truly is the only MLM company that I buy products from just for the products alone.
Despite the fact that Pampered Chef’s product menu is comprehensive, it is quite exhaustive. Furthermore, some of the prices for these kitchen gadgets are, in our opinion are completely unreasonable.
But, every single catalog / menu Pampered Chef offers for their products contains all the information you need to know to make an informed purchase.
How To Join Pampered Chef
If you want to join Pampered Chef as a team member, you’re in luck since they make it very simple! All you have to do is go to their website, fill out the form, and wait for a sponsor or someone who told you about it to contact you.
To finish your registration as a Pampered Chef consultant, you must sign a consultant agreement form and buy a Pampered Chef consultant kit.
What Does It Cost To Become A Pampered Chef?
The following are some of the different Pampered Chef consultant kits:
Starter kit:
This kit is $99 and includes over $400 in products. The starting package is ideal for people who want to try out the entire product line.
Deluxe package:
This kit is $159 and includes $700 in products. Because you may offer more products with the deluxe kit, it is great for people who wish to make money faster than with the starting package.
The Ultimate Kit:
This kit costs $259 and includes $1000 worth of products. The ultimate kit is ideal for those that give everything they have to a business opportunity.
These kits are business tools that should enable you to make more money by providing you with product access.
Is Pampered Chef Overpriced?
In our opinion, It’s tough to see how a variety of products purchased for $259 can be flipped for over $1000.
Although we believe the products are pricey, we believe the cost of joining Pampered Chef is reasonable.
After all, you can’t expect them to pay you nothing for the things you’re supposed to sell.
How Much Does A Pampered Chef Consultant Make?
Pampered Chef pays its consultants based on sales volume. Please review the following for a detailed breakdown of their compensation plan:
- 20% commission rate for $1 to $749 monthly sales.
- 22% commission rate for $750 to $1249 monthly sales.
- 23% commission rate for $1250 to $2449 monthly sales.
- 24% commission rate for $2500 to $3999 monthly sales.
- 25% commission rate for over $4000 monthly sales.
When compared to any other network marketing mlm company, Pampered Chef offers a really solid pay plan that will hold its own against any other network marketing mlm company’s compensation plan.
Is The Pampered Chef MLM A Pyramid Scheme
Pampered Chef is not a pyramid scheme by definition. There are genuine products that friends and relatives buy and sell.
You may generate money legally without getting caught up in a pyramid scheme if you consider the Pampered Chef company like a real business opportunity.
Companies classified as multilevel marketing (MLM) must now, more than ever, comply to strict guidelines that prove their business is not a pyramid scam.
When a business is found to be a pyramid scheme, it often faces serious legal problems that no one wants to deal with.
Even though your friend believes the Pampered Chef mlm is a pyramid scam, your friend is mistaken because everyone at every level of the company can make money, however in a true pyramid scheme, only those at the top profit while the others lose money.
Pyramid schemes are terrible, and if we could consider Pampered Chef a pyramid scam, here at Scam Risk we would.
Why Pampered Chef Looks Like A Scam
Most people join the Pampered Chef company in order to purchase cheaper cookware and a variety of other products than a regular customer.
When this happens, and you talk to another “Pampered Chef Distributor” about it, you’ll both discover that you haven’t made a lot of money. It’s usually because neither of you has any sales experience.
Although the Pampered Chef compensation plan is tempting, you can only make the most out of it if you have a strong sales strategy.
Like any other multilevel marketing or network marketing company, most people will be left with only their family and friends to market to. You could perhaps make enough money to break even.
Although the business model and company may appear to be a scam, it is simply a case of people not understanding the business strategy.
There are some really high earners among consultants, and they will tell you from personal experience that the company is not a scam and that anyone can profit from it provided they have a good sales process and can connect well with others.
Finally, the commission rate is comparable to that of other network marketing programs, which adds to the company’s credibility.
Why People Aren’t Fans Of Pampered Chef
Like any other multi-level marketing organization, the training you will receive will essentially be a sales pitch that you will use to convince friends and family members.
Nobody likes business concepts that demand you to force a product down the throats of your family, community, and elderly neighbor.
In reality, if you look at Pampered Chef mlm reviews online from actual consultants, you’ll notice that many of them are unhappy because they can’t generate a full-time income from it.
What do you think the majority of people would think about a company if a company consultant who buys a consultant kit and is probably the first actual customer is unhappy?
Sadly, despite having an A+ rating, Pampered Chef has a lot of complaints with the Better Business Bureau.
Another reason why people hate this type of business model and company is how much cheaper these things can be found on Amazon!
Why would someone attend a Pampered Chef party when they can just click on a social media ad that directs them to Amazon, where the pizza stone is available at the consultant rate and it can be delivered to you the next day?
Anyone who would spend more money at a party on items they could get for a cheaper price on Amazon would be nuts.
But Can You Really Make Money With Pampered Chef?
There’s a lot that comes along with Pampered Chef that many people struggle with when it comes to Network Marketing.
In fact, check out our Top 5 Reason Why Most Network Marketers Fail.
Now, don’t get me wrong…
You can certainly make money with MLM, but if you’re gonna put in the amount of grueling work to become do this business (which, trust me, isn’t easy), you might as well bring in some REAL money while you’re learning the ropes.
The program that helped skyrocket my online business to $40,000+ per month is so simple that making money really does become second nature.
So, what is it?
The Business Model We Recommend Instead Of Pampered Chef… And It’s Not Another MLM
Digital Real Estate:
This is a business strategy in which you may set up passive income assets that generate monthly rent without nearly all of the hassle.
But, in our Pampered Chef mlm review, why is this recommended over Pampered Chef?
It’s pretty simple…
This is a model that anyone can use to achieve huge success!
Here are a few reasons why it’s better to the Pampered Chef MLM business:
- You won’t have to bother about sales parties.
- You do not need to be concerned about cooking
- You do not need to be concerned about your company’s marketing emails.
- You don’t have to charge a premium for kitchen tools.
- You don’t have to be affiliated with Berkshire Hathaway.
What Can You Do Easily With Digital Real Estate That You Can’t Do Easily With Pampered Chef?
- You can support small businesses by providing them with better work opportunities.
- You may easily work from home and earn a full-time income without needing to sell at higher prices.
- You don’t need to sell a product to hold a party.
- You can easily out earn any other MLM company if you can build and rank a website.
- You can easily make residual PASSIVE INCOME!
What Is Our Top Recommendation For Making Digital Real Estate In 2021?
Our review team has come across a program in the real estate industry that is next level!
Although it’s not real estate in the traditional sense, it’s all digital.
Where Pampered Chef falls short is in scalability.
There’s only so much time in a day and there’s only so many people you can reach to sell by yourself.
MLM companies know this!
Which is why they push so hard for you to recruit for your downline…you can’t get rich with it as a one man/woman show.
But what if you could make even more money off of little local websites without having to spend hundreds of dollars on overpriced products and a bunch of time recruiting people to sell under you?
With this digital real estate program, you can make recurring monthly income without constant sales to your friends and constant recruitment!
Sound too good to be true?
Of course it does!
But it isn’t…in fact, business owners wish they had this skill!
All you have to do is build and rank a LOCAL website and forward the jobs off to a business owner in town, you could even email it to them!
This works for literally any service based business, tree service, plumbing, towing, etc.
How do you get paid and how much?
Simple, after you forward the jobs off to a business owner and he makes some money off of them, you simply ask to make the deal beneficial for each other.
A fair price to charge per lead, depending on the industry is 10-20%…let’s just use the tree service industry for example and go by worst case scenario.
Let’s say you build and rank the site and only 10 jobs a month come in. The average tree service job is anywhere from $500-$2000!
That means at bare minimum you have an asset worth $500 a month!
See why they call it digital real estate now? That’s a rent payment.
The great thing is how easy it is to scale. You don’t have to worry about:
- Your upline getting paid before you
- Begging your friends and family to buy from you
- Recruiting people all the time
But as it is with Pampered Chef… You only get what’s left of the pie if you meet a monthly quota…
The course we recommend actually allows you to collect HUGE FLAT RATE DEALS. Truly passive income!
The training program takes making money online to a whole other level. The owner of the program walks you through how to build and rank a site hand in hand, with the occasional voice over when he is sharing his screen.
You will learn the importance of keywords, website name, how to send call notifications via email, backlinking, etc.
Once the training program is completed you will also have access to a Facebook group much better than the Pampered Chef group in our opinion. This group is much more active.
Unlike Pampered Chef, where you’re getting maybe $10 per sale, you could be getting 10-20X THAT.
A business will always want more leads and another job. In fact it doesn’t even matter that the job isn’t coming from their website name…they see it as it is…expanding digital real estate.
Unlike Pampered Chef, more people have been able to walk away from their 9-5 job as well.
Digital real estate allows you to have total passive income with most of your day being spent WITH your friends, NOT selling to them.
Now, I know you probably have tons of questions…
