Instead of defending himself, Mark agreed to a $500,000 (performance bond) and a $5 million settlement (consumer redress). This shady past could be the reason he isn’t featured on PureTrim’s website.

- 5-Star Promoter – maintain 5 4-Star Promoters on the first 2 levels of 5 unilevel legs
- President’s Club – maintain 5-Star Promoters on the first 2 levels of 5 unilevel legs
Do you understand the compensation plan?
To be honest, I’m at a loss…
Based on my understanding, you must retain recruits in order to advance up the ladder. This is a red flag for the focus on recruitment rather than product selling.
Why?
Because, unfortunately, affiliates have no choice but to recruit to pay for auto-ship — and these recruits must also recruit to pay for auto-ship.
Isn’t this a pyramid scheme in disguise?

Retail Commission
Executive Promoters receive a 10% commission on retail product purchases, Direct Promoters receive a 25% commission, and each succeeding level receives a 10% commission.
Residual Commission
Unilevel Plan: An affiliate’s recruit is placed in his downline (Level 1). When a Level 1 affiliate has a personal recruit, it moves to Level 2.
Gold Bonus
The Gold Bonus is only available to 3-Star Promoters (and higher ranks). How do you qualify? Simply keep a $299 personal auto-ship and 10 retail customers who spend at least $99 per month.
All-Star Matching Bonus
If an Executive Promoter recruits 7 direct promoters in his first month, he earns $700.
Fast Start Bonus
An Executive Promoter receives $100 for every personal recruit who becomes a Direct Promoter.
Frontline Bonus
Executive Promoters (and all higher ranks) receive a 10% commission on the product orders of Direct Promoters who are personally recruited.
Luxury Car Bonus
The Luxury Car Bonus is only available to 2-Star Promoters and those with higher ranks.
The Clincher
Looks promising, doesn’t it? But, do you think it’s that simple to achieve those levels?
Consider this: you must spend a minimum of $400 per month, in addition to meeting other requirements for each commission type. That’s a whopping $4,800 per year! Do you have that kind of money?
Do you know enough people who can afford it to convince and recruit? It’s unlikely.
As a result, in order to meet your target sales volume, you will almost certainly be forced to buy the products yourself, resulting in stacks of product inventory!

Owner’s Sketchy Past
With the owner’s shady track record, you’ll find it difficult to sell, let alone recruit, into the company.
Expensive Membership And Products
Why pay high prices for health supplements at PureTrim when other companies with established brand names and clinically tested products are cheaper?
Unproven Product Effectiveness
Despite PureTrim’s claims, the results of clinical trials on some of their products have not been made public.
No established test results support the efficacy of their products.
As a result, despite claiming that the FDA does not evaluate their statements, the company has not been true to advertising disclosure.
Difficult Auto-Ship Requirements
Are you willing and financially capable of meeting all of the auto-ship requirements? $4,800 is no joke.
Pay To Play
Simply put, either put your dough down or leave the table. The PureTrim game is only available to those with financial means.
Bottom Line: Is PureTrim A Scam? Is It Worth It?
PureTrim is clearly not a scam, as we can see. It sells genuine and legitimate products and now properly compensates affiliates.
It also uses a legit multi-level marketing system. However, the need for recruitment turns it into a pyramid scheme in disguise.
I wouldn’t think twice to recommend it to a friend, particularly one who values health and wellness.
