Trades Of Hope Review: What Is The Story Behind The Founding Of Trades Of Hope?

Founders

Two mothers had an idea in June 2010: What if we could work with our daughters to start a company that would help women all over the world?

Both women had arrived at a decision point in their lives.

Holly Wehde, a pastor’s wife, had just turned 40 and had recovered from a heart attack. Gretchen Huijskens was unhappy with the small impact she felt she was making in Haiti through a nonprofit she co-founded.

They met at a homeschool co-op meeting and instantly got along because they shared a strong faith and a desire to serve others.

Wehde then went to a house party hosted by one of her friends. As she looked around at everyone eating and looking at jewelry, her thoughts returned to the women Huijskens had described to her.

She had a quick vision of how she could start a home party business that would make a long-term difference in the lives of Haitian women.

She immediately shared her vision with Huijskens, and they decided to bring along Wehde’s daughter Chelsie and Huijskens’ daughter Elisabeth.

Soon after, Trades of Hope was founded with the mission of “empowering women out of poverty through sustainable business.”

In 49 states across the United States, the company now has approximately 2,000 distributors known as “Compassionate Entrepreneurs.”

Is Trades Of Hope A Non-Profit?

Nope, Trades of Hope is not a charitable or non-profit organization.

Trades of Hope believes that long-term change can be achieved through sustainable business rather than charity.

They are a mission-driven company that acts as a link in the chain to help women in developing countries and women in the United States build sustainable businesses. Women helping other women.

Their artisans earn approximately 3-6 times what they would in their home country.

A 100% of the asking price is paid to their artisans in order for them to make a lving.

The shipping costs, as well as the 25% for the Partner and business expenses, are not included until the artisans have been paid and the have arrived in the United States.

This ensures that the artisans receive a fair wage for the price they set for their products.

Is Trades Of Hope Legit? Or Is Trades Of Hope A Scam?

To those who wonder, “Is Trades of Hope a scam?” the answer is no. It is a legitimate and legal company. They sell both high-quality jewelry and fashionable women’s clothing.

Is Trades Of Hope A Pyramid Scheme?

Trades of Hope does not operate in the manner of a pyramid scheme.

It is illegal to run a pyramid scheme.

Trades Of Hope, as a Direct Selling Association (DSA) member, supports legislative efforts to eliminate pyramid schemes in the United States.

They put the opportunities that 6 million legitimate direct sales women rely on every day in jeopardy. (Data Source: DSA)

Forbes reports, citing the DSA, that,

“… a pyramid scheme is illegal, and the vast majority of their participants lose money.” A pyramid scheme relies on recruiting new representatives to profit (rather than product sales), charge reps large upfront fees, and persuade them to purchase large amounts of non-returnable inventory. In general, their products have little or no actual value.”

Whom Does Trades Of Hope Work With?

Trades of Hope works with artisans from around the world.

Some women have been rescued from sex slavery. Others are responsible for raising disabled children on their own.

Some are in war-torn countries, while others are HIV/AIDS and leprosy infected.

These women, unlike us, have never had any exposure to a business opportunity.

These women value their families and hope for a better future for them.

Trades of Hope helps by selling their products through house parties, which allows them to provide food, shelter, healthcare, and education for their children.

Can You Make Money With Trades Of Hope Compensation Plan?

You can earn money with Trades of Hope in two ways: as an Artisan or as a Compassionate Entrepreneur.

Trades of Hope offers its Consultants (Compassionate Entrepreneurs) a competitive compensation plan in the direct selling industry, in addition to a focus on lifting its artisans out of poverty.

These Compassionate Entrepreneurs (CEs) can make up to 37% on their personal retail sales in addition to what they can make by building a team.

According to Huijskens in a September 2015 DSN article, the company has already identified women who can replace their full-time income through Trades of Hope.

But there’s a lot that comes along with MLM (Network Marketing) that many people struggle with.

In fact, check out the Top 5 Reason Why Most Network Marketers Fail.

Now, don’t get me wrong…

It’s not impossible to make money with Trades of Hope, but if you’re gonna put in the amount of grueling work to do this business (which, trust me, isn’t easy), you might as well bring in some REAL money while you’re learning the ropes.

The program that helped skyrocket my online business to over $40,000+ per month is so simple that making money really does become second nature.

Make Money As An Artisan

Women Empowerment

Despite the fact that the process for becoming an artisan is not readily available on the website, the owner has shared the process for determining profits.

She added that they are asked how much money is needed to meet their family’s needs as an artisan, and Trades of Hope ensures that artists are paid more than that.

Artisans are even given the opportunity to benefit generously from their work and the sales of Compassionate Entrepreneurs.

The following services are provided to artisans by Trades of Hope:

  • Products’ raw materials
  • Shipping
  • Any costs including by the artisans for them to earn and develop long-term income
  • Job Skills Training

As a result, they may devote all of their earnings to supporting their families.

Make Money As A Compassionate Entrepreneur

There are only two ways to make money as a Compassionate Entrepreneur:

Make Money From Product Sales

You can buy cheaper warehouse products as a Trades of Hope partner and then market and sell them for a profit.

Make Money By Building A Team

Because recruiting is the primary goal of most of MLMs, you should expect to see it in every MLM you encounter.

Earn a 1% to 7% commission on the sales of your downline members. The level of your downline member determines this.

How Can I Become A Member Of Trades Of Hope And How Much Does It Cost?

Signing up is simple on the official website. Visit https://tradesofhope.com and choose the appropriate start-up kit.

The larger kits provide more value and a wider range of products. The $24 mini kit is perfect for those on a tight budget or if you already have a lot of products!

For $99, you can become a compassionate entrepreneur and receive materials for hosting home parties or vendor events, as well as a 30-day custom website trial ($13.95/mo after 30 days) and products from across the world.

Can I Sell Online? Or Do I Have To Do In-Person Events Or Home Parties?

You can run your entire business online, as some of your partners do.

Among other things, you can sell through Facebook parties, Instagram, blogging, Pinterest, email marketing, and YouTube.

TikTok is even used by some people!

Trades of Hope offers a comprehensive back office as well as a personal replicated site.

When you signup for this site, you will be offered the option of creating your own URL. Customers who visit this URL will have their purchases credited to you.

Can I Advertise Online?

Yes. Trades of Hope offers personalized replica websites that can be easily linked to social media. Other websites are not allowed.

Can I Sell On EBay, PoshMark, Etsy, Or Similar Sites?

No, Trades of Hope products may not be sold on eBay, PoshMark, Etsy, or other similar websites.

Can I Sell At Fairs And Events?

Yes, Partners may sell their wares at local events and expos.

You can either buy the inventory to resell at the event or take orders to be shipped directly to your customer.

According to their policy, unless they are doing it together, trades of Hope can only allow one Partner per event. The first person to register for and pay for the event will be able to sell there.

What Are The Requirements For Being An Active Member Partner With Trades Of Hope? Is There A Monthly Cost For A Member?

To become a Partner, you must actively sell Trades of Hope products and have completed at least one commissionable order of any size in the previous 12 months.

As a Partner, you will be deactivated if you do not make any commissionable sales for 12 months in a row.

You must meet a $300 monthly personal retail volume sales (PRV) requirement if you choose to enter the career track and collect your success line. This is to ensure that you can train your team in personal sales rather than just sponsoring.

If you fail to generate at least $300 PRV for at least one month in six months, your success line will roll up following the Roll-Up Policy. Your personal account is unaffected by this compression.

Trades Of Hope Review: My Recommendation

One thing that stands out about Trades of Hope is that the compensation plan is not available online unless you join.

This is not a good sign. It is critical to evaluate the plan so that you can estimate costs, expenses, and revenues and determine whether the business opportunity is right for you.

According to other sites’ compensation plans, in order to advance in Trades of Hope, you must recruit others to sell the products. Recruits must also buy starter packs and meet personal volume requirements.

It is possible to profit from the sale of Trades of Hope. Replacing career-level income, on the other hand, is going to be hard and unlikely.

To comply with FTC regulations, Trades of Hope should disclose how likely it is that you will be able to earn a “full-time income” if someone tells you that you can.

Scam recruiting tactics include talking about free vacations and quitting your job. Request real data to back up the CE’s claim (or the claim of someone claiming to be “sharing” the opportunity with you).

What Is Our Top Recommendation For Making Money Online?

Passive Income

Our review team has come across a program in the real estate industry that is next level!

Although it’s not real estate in the traditional sense, it’s all digital.

Yup, Digital Real Estate!

Where Trades of Hope falls short in my opinion is scalability.

There’s only so much time in a day and there’s only so many people you can reach to sell by yourself.

MLM companies know this!

Which is why they push so hard for you to recruit for your downline…you can’t get rich with it as a one man/woman show.

But what if you could make even more money off of little local websites without having to spend hundreds of dollars on overpriced products and a bunch of time recruiting people to sell under you?

With this digital real estate program, you can make recurring monthly income without constant sales to your friends and constant recruitment!

Sound too good to be true?

Of course it does!

But it isn’t…in fact, business owners wish they had this skill!

All you have to do is build and rank a LOCAL website and forward the jobs off to a business owner in town, you could even email it to them!

This works for literally any service based business, tree service, plumbing, towing, etc.

How Do You Get Paid And How Much?

Simple, after you forward the jobs off to a business owner and he makes some money off of them, you simply ask to make the deal beneficial for each other.

A fair price to charge per lead, depending on the industry is 10-20%…let’s just use the tree service industry for example and go by worst case scenario.

Let’s say you build and rank the site and only 10 jobs a month come in. The average tree service job is anywhere from $500-$2000!

That means at bare minimum you have an asset worth $500 a month!

See why they call it digital real estate now? That’s a rent payment.

The great thing is how easy it is to scale. You don’t have to worry about:

  • Your upline getting paid before you
  • Begging your friends and family to buy from you
  • Recruiting people all the time

Remember with Trades of Hope… You only get what’s left of the pie if you meet a monthly quota…

The course we recommend actually allows you to collect HUGE FLAT RATE DEALS. Truly passive income!

The training program takes making money online to a whole other level. The owner of the program walks you through how to build and rank a site hand in hand, with the occasional voice over when he is sharing his screen.

You will learn the importance of keywords, website name, how to send call notifications via email, backlinking, etc.

Once the training program is completed you will also have access to a Facebook group much better than the Trades of Hope MLM in our opinion. This group is much more active.

Unlike Trades of Hope, where you’re getting maybe $10 per sale, you could be getting 10-20X THAT.

Pyramid Schemes

A business will always want more leads and another job. In fact it doesn’t even matter that the job isn’t coming from their website name…they see it as it is…expanding digital real estate.

Unlike what I’ve seen with Trades of Hope, more people have been able to walk away from their 9-5 job as well.

Digital real estate allows you to have total passive income with most of your day being spent WITH your friends, NOT selling to them.

Now, I know you probably have tons of questions…

So, check this out to learn more.
