Inbound Closer is a digital marketing and sales training program that “teaches entrepreneurs the in-demand skill of establishing a full-time income online by closing high-ticket deals as a digital marketing consultant and earn $1,000+ daily commission in a $129 billion dollar industry.”

Payton Welch and his brother Taylor Welch promote it as one of several make money online courses focusing on sales. To put it simply, it is a how-to course.

It teaches you how to find clients and how to close deals with them…

However, you must do all of the finding and closing yourself.

You could even have to run an ad on several platforms to create interest…

YIKES!

Ironically, one of the key selling points of Inbound Closer is that sales is a highly in-demand skill.

Furthermore, a course like this offers people hope that they can make money online. And, while we must be honest for this review…

Inbound Closer does include some very useful advice for making money online and earning big commission checks.

We’ll review Inbound Closer to see whether it truly is the best telemarketing course out there.

We’ll discuss if telemarketing is the right online business model for you.

Finally, we’ll address some of the most commonly asked questions about Inbound Closer and telemarketing in general.

Most importantly, we’ll teach you the exact system we used to grow our own internet marketing business to over $40,000 in primarily passive income every month.

This system made us swear off telemarketing for good, because it uses some of the same skills in a much more powerful and profitable way!

But we’ll get to that later.

For now let’s jump into all things Inbound Closer!

They are brothers who are well-known for their sales skills. Taylor has his own program called Traffic and Funnels, which he co-created with Chris Evans.

Although some may claim it’s a scam and Payton Welch is a con artist, we believe that he’s the real deal after a closer look.

Even though he just offered Payton a rebranded version of his program, the same can be said about his brother Taylor.

Payton Welch, on the other hand, has been questioned by some online for a good reason. Their home page is full of big promises, which are generally red flags for scammers.

It’s also not a good indicator if your program has been mentioned in several “get rich quick scheme” reviews.

Here are a few examples of bold promises:

Payton Welch, a proud alumnus of the University of Memphis, and his brother provide a basic online program about generating money through the art of sales. Indeed, it is general known in the high-ticket market that selling is a fantastic way to generate money.

The course includes a basic landing page with navigation to the various parts of the training videos. This interface is straightforward and easy to use. We even had one of our review team members’ grandpa test it out to make sure!

You will have access to the blueprint for the daily commission check. This two-module library will teach you all you need to know and do to land your first high-ticket client in only one week!

Personally, after going through this with our review team, we discovered that the training program is good, but you must make phone calls all day every day in order to load your pockets with daily commission.

You also have access to the Inbound Closer Accelerator. This is Payton’s 21 day zero to hero inbound closing system.

We have discovered that this part of the program is incredibly useful due to the amount of time and effort put into it. Payton meticulously created this closing system after roughly 3,200 calls and $40 million in business were closed.

It’s safe to say that we think it’s effective!

You’ll also have access to inbound closer 7 and 8 figure earners, as well as post-call recordings that are broken down so you can understand, learn, and implement these strategies.

Even though our review staff is well-versed in sales, it’s always good to see other programs provide full call records.

In fact, having a complete example of what a sales call looks like makes it easier for individuals to get started with the course. After all, most people agree that the most difficult part of getting started is figuring out where to begin on a phone call.

If those three benefits aren’t enough for you, you’ll be glad to learn that you’ll get access to the inbound closer mastermind group.

This received mixed reviews from our review team. Some people claimed the inbound closer mastermind group was helpful, while others said it was disappointing.

On the bright side, our entire review team felt that having access to a network of online entrepreneurs is always beneficial!

Last but not least, you will get access to Taylor’s personal network of online entrepreneurs. This is different from support. Taylor and other clients will post opportunities for you to participate in on this network.

Most require the ability to make decent phone calls, but the program’s feature surprised us and might have easily been an upsell..

However, it is provided as part of the course.

Respect earned.

Another aspect of course material is a 6-page pdf with scripts that you may use on sales calls. Sticking to the script can help you improve your phone skills!

That is, in fact, the best recommendation we can provide for this course…

Follow the script!

Payton Welch, who some people misspell as Peyton Welsh while looking for inbound closer information, wears many hats. He is a digital marketer, real estate investor, and all-around entrepreneur. Aside from Inbound Closer, his most well-known course is “Sales Mentor,” which also teaches telemarketing.

We’re sure you’re curious about Payton Welch’s course and want to know if he’s generating money from the skillset he claims to teach. The fact is that Payton has made over 3000 calls, resulting in almost $42,000,000 in sales. Take note that we mentioned sales, not profit.

He prefers to invest in real estate when he makes a profit. Hmmmm.

Aside from Inbound Closer, he also works as a senior traffic adviser / digital marketing consultant for Traffic and Funnels. His brother Taylor Welch and closest buddy Chris Evan teach this upsell course.

Payton appears to be making good progress as an entrepreneur in the online business sector. According to several reports, Payton Welch’s net worth is $2 million and up.

But it wasn’t always sunshine and rainbows for him. In fact, he was just like you a few years ago. He was working a dreadful 9-5 job that he despised until big brother came to the rescue. And no, we’re not referring to the government.

Taylor Welch, the Traffic and Funnels guy, assisted him in turning his life around!

Sure, you can think to yourself, “Well crap guys, if anyone in my family was operating a million dollar firm, I’d be set for life just as Payton was!” But you’d be wrong.

Payton Welch had to work his way up from the bottom of his brother’s company. Payton’s progress stemmed from his determination to begin at the bottom. His success in sales led to the founding of Inbound Closer and his career as a telemarketer.

There is no secret to Payton’s success with inbound calls; it just required a ridiculous amount of repetition. That is, if you fight anything with brute force long enough, you will eventually succeed. That’s exactly what happened. And Taylor Welch began to notice his younger brother’s big numbers. So he started running sales training sessions for Traffic and Funnels clients. This was the beginning of Sales Mentor, a subsidiary of Traffic and Funnels.

If you saw the Sales Mentor YouTube Ads, you’ll understand exactly what we’re talking about. You’ve undoubtedly seen a script like this:

“Would you like to make a living online?”

“Well, in reality, you have two choices.”

“First, you could start a business like all these other two-hour webinars tell you to do, and spend the next two years working 70-hour weeks on top of your 9-to-5 until you get things off the ground.” There’s nothing wrong about it.”

“But I’ll show you in a second why you’d take the long road because there’s another choice.” And, much like the 1,621 people who have utilized that choice to replace their 9 to 5 job within 21 days, you’ll see, clear as day, how you can have all you want.”

A quick Google search reveals that the Sales Mentor company really runs the Inbound Closer course and certification. You know, the one that Payton Welch advertised months ago?

It’s no surprise that people all across the world are wondering if these courses are the same. They are available at various prices, but the content is quite similar based on what some people have said online.

But, actually, the guy isn’t all that terrible. He has more than one free training video on YouTube that focuses on his main business, sales, and marketing.

There’s no denying that Payton and Taylor Welch are earning big bucks. However, you can’t operate a massive channel like theirs, spend thousands of dollars on sponsored advertising, and yet be broke.

A quick glance at the Sales Mentor YouTube channel reveals that they only have 500 subscribers… relatively small numbers especially considering they have one video with 3 million views!

What’s the big deal?

That video will certainly be used as an advertisement for the Inbound Closer program and Sales Mentor; talk about great inbound marketing!

It may be difficult to believe, but certain online marketing experts and digital course creators may make a lot of money while having a small social following. They usually maintain a low profile and work when no one else is watching.

However, if you merely look at his social media accounts, such as Instagram, you’ll see that he’s becoming someone like other individuals with similar success stories to him, such as Kevin David (Amazon) and Tai Lopez (self help).

He flaunts a lavish lifestyle to provide social evidence for people interested in his courses. And even if that isn’t the case, it’s not as if he hasn’t earned the right to such luxuries, right?

There are some solid opinions regarding Inbound closer on Reddit, but here’s what people are saying in this thread:

https://www.reddit.com/r/FakeGuru/comments/

lcs0nf/update_on_buying_the_inbound_closer_

program_to/

Dopaminesalesman is a user who writes…

“Exactly. The YouTube ads with this dirty blond haired young man comes on saying something like “can you answer a phone? All you need is a cell phone and a PDF” and you can start making money and quit your job in 21 days.

You see, before this I was stuck as a corporate drone in a dead end job…..” blah blah, and I think he says something about when you answer the calls and close a sale, getting a minimum of $980 per sale.

And then at the last part he approaches a few of his ‘students’ and says something like “hey Carl, how much did you make last month?” And they say “uhmm, $15,240.00”. And then he asks him “and what did you make before at your corporate job as a d**** tester?”. And the guy says “$45,000 a year.” And lastly the guy says “what sort of ‘limited beliefs’ did you have that kept you from earning what you’re worth, like you are now.”

He almost makes it sound like you pay $97 and then you get the script and let them know what hours and what days you want to be available for incoming calls and after that you start getting phone calls of people interested in buying whatever product or service they have and when you read the script and close them, BAM!

You get a check the following week for $980 or $980 times however many sales you closed.

Wouldn’t that be great!

You close only one sale your first week and get a check for $980, then the next week or the week after that you get better and/or work a few more hours and you end up closing 4 sales and then get a check for $3,920 the next week and so on.

And then you’re thinking, “okay, that’s how these ‘students’ of his are making $15,000 or $17,000 or $20,000 per month.

But like all of those ‘how to get rich selling real estate’ courses, it just gives you some sales tips and tells you how to prospect and find people to start offering your services and hopefully you go out and put the work in and start making money.“

Another user, Illustrious-Piano115, writes…

“LMAO my dude says in his pitch you don’t have to all that hard work and then proceeds to provide a course which you have to do “all that hard work”.

If you were being given clients and all you had to do was pick up calls amazing but they don’t even give you clients.

GG someone egg that blonde fake guru cars for wasting my ears and eye sight”.

While sarcasm is obvious in the response… The writer’s frustration is reasonable. They believe that the Inbound Closer marketing is misleading.

They claim they have been persuaded to believe that all they will need to do is take high-ticket deals over the phone. Unfortunately, they will have to prospect for their first high-ticket client.

If they think “inbound closure” is this bad, they should check into the affiliate marketing model! That’s even more difficult!

Take a look at this discussion on the same thread:

DeWitt1307:

“Hey quick question then, in their video they said they help connect you with these clients for closing. But in your post you say there is no help with client connection?”

mcfidgi (the OP) replies by saying:

“That’s true, I don’t remember them saying that they’d connect you with clients in the video but if they do then that’s misleading. I believe they do do that if you buy the upsell but I still don’t think I’d recommend that unless you were already making money.

They do give tips on finding clients and there are some case studies where they’ll talk with other people and they’ll talk about how they found clients. Basically you’ll need to hustle a bit and be consistent to find clients, but people do it.

Some people in the facebook group have said that for them the process of finding clients is basically the same as the process of closing sales.”

As you can see, there is a diverse variety of opinions swirling around Inbound Closer. A lot of people love it, while some say it’s a misleading sales course that makes you become a telemarketer.

If you’re interested in going beyond the $97 buy in, here’s some in-depth information about their upsell course.

Module 0 is essentially the standard introduction to any other online course, such as the Inbound Closer program. They go through the basics, such as the main points they want to cover, how to make it work for you, and so on. In fact, the first lesson explains to you what you need to keep an eye on during this learning process. They even provide you with a printed note sheet as you begin the entire Inbound Closer journey.

After the formalities are over, Payton begins discussing how inbound closing is the huge opportunity in today’s market. Then he explains how the certification process works and what you should focus on next.

It’s good to see their mindset lessons included. When starting on a new endeavor, it is important to have a positive mindset.

The art of sales is all about the mind, especially if you’re an Inbound Closer. That is exactly what Payton discusses in this first module. He believes that it is the mindset that distinguishes successful closers from unsuccessful ones. As a result, he demonstrates the proper mentality and offers guidance on how to maintain it.

Payton then discusses many life ideas that may completely alter your view of what it is possible to achieve as an Inbound Closer. Here are some of the topics you’ll cover:

And would an online telemarketing course be considered legit if it did not include any bonus topics like these?

What you’re intended to take away from this first module is that success as a closer is entirely up to you.

You’d be correct if you assumed from the title that it would be about mindset and motivation. But instead of Payton, you’ll see Eli Wilde, one of the Sales mentors in the course, in the videos you watch.

Throughout this session, he discusses the need of self-assurance because a client’s trust in you is based on their perception that you are an expert in your field.

After that, he speaks about sales as leadership and how to improve your mindset as a closer. Eli also gives you a different perspective on sales. In his words, he claims you’re not simply another salesperson… As their guardian, you’re there to keep them away from shady individuals.

You’ll also discover the following bonus modules:

At this point, you FINALLY begin to close high-ticket deals. Eli Wilde teaches the majority of this module. Make sure to take some notes here; you’ll be glad you did later.

He also discusses how to prepare for closing. Could you imagine it? Doing your homework before hopping on the call with someone… To be honest, you’d be amazed at how useful something as simple as this can be. It will significantly strengthen your position on the call.

He also gives you a list of “challenging” questions to ask to get the prospect to dig deeper and provide you with important information. And this time, the bonus clips come from none other than Taylor Welch!

Module 4 is essentially a continuation of the previous module. Eli goes into further detail on what you should do before and during calls and how to close successfully.

The reality is that if your prospect believes you lack confidence or are avoiding specific questions, they will be less likely to purchase from you.

Following that, Eli takes you to one of their aggressive closing scripts. However, keep in mind that this should only be utilized in particular instances.

This is the module that distinguishes amateurs from professionals. Eli walks you through how to handle objections, which is a continuation of the last module. Handling objections correctly helps you to look confident and the market expert.

You’ll be far more likely to close a deal if you master objections the way Eli shows you. He demonstrates certain patterns and frameworks you may use to be composed and confident over the phone.

Objection handling will set you apart from the other 99% of closers.

This is a bonus module that will be unlocked once you have completed the first 5 modules. This session is designed to be the icing on the cake that transforms you into a professional Inbound Closer.

After passing your certification, you will have access to the group’s closers and owners network. You will learn here more about why continuous mentoring is important to your growth as an inbound closer. Finally, they provide you with various templates to work from while building your personal inbound closer bio.

Let’s just go right to it and give you some realistic expectations for this program and the others that they try to upsell you on in the inbound closer.

Although it is true that the high ticket sales industry is a 129 billion dollar market…it is extremely difficult to get into as a newbie.

Unlike Payton’s big promise when you join, landing your first customer in 21 days is quite challenging.

It is feasible, but it is rare. They inform you that these outcomes aren’t normal, but they make sure the 3 week mark is instilled in your mind well before that.

That, in my opinion, is misleading.

To achieve any form of success in this growing 129 billion dollar industry and fill your pockets full of cash, you must work hard every day and strictly adhere to the 6 page pdf.

Most people also don’t realize that using Inbound Closer alone, you aren’t offered a client list from which to prospect…

You must create your own sales funnel and put in a lot of effort to do so.

This is where the big ticket upsells begin…

They do provide a list of prospects to help you get started contacting sooner…

However, you must pay for it. But more on it later.

In general, as an ordinary user of this program, you will struggle to receive the daily commission checks they advertise.

Keep in mind that in order for that to happen, you would have to make a sale every single day.

That is why it isn’t highly recommended like other programs.

You’re probably simply curious at this point…

Yes, Inbound Closer works if you put in the effort… But, as I have stated, I believe there are better alternatives.

You’ll make money as long as you study and watch all of the videos. It just won’t happen right away since you’ll need to work on your inbound closing skills first.

If you search for other Inbound Closer reviews online, you will discover that they are fairly mixed…

It makes me question which reviews are genuine and which are not.

But I will say this: everyone on our team thinks that inbound closing is significantly simpler than cold calling.

You can definitely earn money with telemarketing, but if you’re going to put in the effort to become a telemarketer (which isn’t easy, believe me), you may as well make some REAL money.

The program that helped me grow my online business to $40,000+ per month teaches some of the same sales skills, but shows you how to monetize them in a far more successful way.

This is when things start to get better.

We’ve seen numerous programs that demand monthly memberships, but Inbound Closer only charges a one-time price of $97…

Not so for Inbound Closer, and only for a limited time!

Despite a growing 129 billion-dollar market, they can give you with reliable high-level information for around $100.

Most people will discover that they can afford it, and if you don’t like it, you can request a money-back guarantee…which, by the way, is a no-questions-asked policy.

Our review team concluded that the program does provide extremely good knowledge, however it appears to be a high level affiliate marketing play with all of the upsells for Traffic and Funnels and other affiliate marketing courses throughout.

Traffic and Funnels is a good course, However, it appears far too much for our liking and screams upsell; it appears everywhere like an ad!

It also takes a great deal of talent to hit the business numbers they do.

However, for what we’re going to discuss, you don’t need any phone skills. In fact, if you wanted to, you could communicate entirely by email!

Our review team has come across a program in the real estate industry that is next level!

Although it’s not real estate in the traditional sense, it’s all digital.

Full Inbound Closer Review
