It’s a lot like the Numis Energy MLM.<\/p>\n From this video, Ambit Energy appears to be a terrific way to “be your own boss.”<\/p>\n So, I’m sure you’re wondering…<\/p>\n Ambit Energy, on the other hand, is not a pyramid scheme<\/strong><\/a>.<\/p>\n Consultants can make money by selling energy services to others.<\/p>\n However, recruiting a large number of individuals into the MLM company is the only way to generate substantial money ($1,000+ per month) or afford the expenses of becoming a consultant.<\/p>\n As a result, Ambit Energy resembles a “pyramid scheme in\u00a0disguise.”<\/p>\n Here’s what I mean…<\/p>\n A company that guarantees to pay people to recruit them rather than sell them a product or service.<\/p>\n Most countries consider these to be unlawful.<\/p>\n This is due to the fact that it is impossible for everyone to gain money, as seen in the Wikipedia figure below…<\/p>\n Ambit Energy, like most MLMs, offers a legitimate service.<\/p>\n However, if you want to make a good living only through Ambit, you will need to recruit people. This means that the majority of individuals you recruit will not be able to make a living, even if you do.<\/p>\n As a result, Ambit Energy is quite close to a “pyramid scheme in\u00a0disguise.”<\/p>\n In truth, success is rare in most MLMs.<\/p>\n Did you realize that between 73% and 99% of all MLM reps lose money?<\/p>\n According to Ambit Energy’s 2018 income disclosure, 99.46% of “Independent Consultants” (IC) make less than $35k per year.<\/p>\n That indicates that just 1\u00a0in every 200 ICs earns enough money from Ambit to survive without any other source of income.<\/p>\n Before we go into the specifics of what it takes to make this type of money, let’s first determine…<\/p>\n Ambit Energy offers alternative rates for people’s home or business energy service.<\/p>\n They save money on advertising and marketing by seeking the help of ordinary individuals to advertise their services to others. These people\u00a0have the potential to earn commissions and incentives by making these sales.<\/p>\n In principle, it’s a win-win situation.<\/p>\n If you are serious about joining a multi-level marketing (MLM) company, you must first understand the things they provide because this is what you will be marketing!<\/p>\n Ambit Energy supplies natural gas and electricity to 17 states in the United States. Each person and state will have somewhat varying rates, so it’s not as simple as having a single fee.<\/p>\n The following are some of the primary services offered by Ambit:<\/p>\n It’s important to remember that there are hundreds of energy suppliers to choose from in the United States. Furthermore, there are other MLM companies that provide comparable services, such as ACN.<\/p>\n So, what makes Ambit Energy unique?<\/p>\n The key selling point for Ambit Energy is that individuals can obtain “free energy”…<\/p>\n To achieve this, you must refer 15 people to Ambit, after which you will receive yours for free (which is not an easy task!).<\/p>\n Ambit also offers good “customer support” to meet the needs of people. However, in my experience, the only thing people care about when it comes to energy suppliers is how cheap they can receive their energy!<\/p>\n These are excellent gimmicky sales methods, but what do genuine customers think of Ambit’s services?<\/p>\n Consumer Affairs and the Better Business Bureau<\/a> are good sites to find out what real people think about a company. And it doesn’t appear to be promising…<\/p>\n The few positive reviews I found were obviously from Ambit “ICs,” such as the one above, which is never a good sign.<\/p>\n Overall, people just want their homes and businesses to have access to electricity at a reasonable cost.<\/p>\n It’s also worth noting that there are several other MLMs that sell the same products as Ambit Energy:<\/p>\n It’s quite difficult for someone to earn a living off of Ambit.<\/p>\n Over 90% of consultants make an average of $110 per year from Ambit, which is far less than their expenses for being an active consultant.<\/p>\n The only people who appear to make a decent living from Ambit tend to be extremely effective salespeople who approach it as a full-time business rather than a part-time job. That’s quite different from what Ambit implies in the original sales video!<\/p>\n Ambit Energy allows you to earn money in 2 ways:<\/p>\n It is worth noting\u00a0that Ambit, like other MLMs, avoids getting shut down as a pyramid scheme since you DO NOT gain money just by recruiting people.<\/p>\n You receive bonuses for any purchases or sales made by the people you recruit.<\/p>\n You’re probably asking before we get into the compensation scheme…<\/p>\n To join Ambit as a “Independent Consultant”\u00a0 or IC,you must pay a one-time fee of $75….<\/p>\n It used to be $429, but the expenses keep rising…<\/p>\n A “consultant suite” will also cost you at least $24.95 each month. It is a ready-made that will sit there.<\/p>\n You would believe that this includes training and other perks, but this is just basic stuff. You will need to pay for further training if you want to learn how to get traffic to this website.<\/p>\n Having a website does not guarantee that people will find it. The difficult aspect is figuring out how to get people to find the website, and Ambit doesn’t help with that.<\/p>\n Here’s the deal…<\/p>\n When you HAVE to recruit people in order to make any good money, the company resembles a “pyramid scheme in disguise.”<\/p>\n This indicates that it is difficult for everyone in the company to make money.<\/p>\n When a corporation focuses primarily on attempting to recruit you,\u00a0this is a huge red flag. It’s a sign that the company is a pyramid in disguise.<\/p>\n There have been other class action lawsuits,<\/a> such as the one they resolved for $9.3 million in March of 2018…<\/p>\n This isn’t the only one.<\/p>\n Other cases were filed in 2015. Multiple lawsuits filed against a company you want to work for is never a good sign.<\/p>\n Google Trends is the clincher for Ambit Energy…<\/p>\n When you compare the number of individuals that search for Ambit each month to other MLMs such as Farmasi, you can see that Ambit is on the wrong track.<\/p>\n It is far easier to advertise a company that is gaining popularity than one that is declining.<\/p>\n There are actually quite a few MLM companies out there to choose from if you really serious about this industry. Here are just a few:<\/p>\n Ambit Energy does provide legitimate energy services, however keep an eye out for price increases when the contract expires.<\/p>\n But, in my opinion, what are your odds of making a good living as a consultant with Ambit?<\/p>\n The only method to generate money from this MLM is to recruit a large number of individuals into the MLM company.
