So, is Zurvita a scam?
Let me state right away that it is NOT a scam. Zurvita is a legit Multi-Level Marketing (MLM) company that sells nutritious beverages.
Should I join Zurvita and give it a go because it’s a legitimate business?

What is Zurvita?
Zurvita is a MLM company with the mission of providing healthy living options for individuals of all ages who want to live a “higher way of life.” That is the company’s mission statement.
Mark and Tracy Jarvis co-founded Zurvita in 2008.
Prior to launching Zurvita, they both had significant success in direct selling.
This is really a good sign for this company because the owners have had success in network marketing. As a result, they should be better competent to establish their own MLM company that can truly help others in achieving success.
How Does Zurvita Work?
Zurvita essentially creates its own unique nutritional supplements that are not found anyplace else on the market.
“Zeal for Life” is their flagship product. It’s a nutritious drink produced using their own unique manufacturing technique that costs roughly $2 per bottle.
They say that this drink will make you happier, more active, and will help you enhance your overall health.
As a result, you may buy their products as a client and/or earn money by marketing their products as an Independent Consultant (IC).
Science Behind Zurvita’s Nutritional Products
If you’ve read previous Zurvita reviews, you’ll notice that the majority of them merely scratch the surface of what their products are actually about.
I believe it is important for you to understand why Zurvita’s products are unique.
They discovered a unique source of nutrients that many people are unaware of after significant study and development.

These may appear ambiguous and too good to be true. However, research have proven that Zurvita products are effective.

As I already said, Zeal or Life is their signature health drink. You only need to add water and shake it to drink it.
You may even add juice if you want to add extra flavor. However, NO HOT BEVERAGES, since the heat will destroy some of the essential nutrients.

Zeal is now available in two formulas: classic and vegan.

Zurvita manufactures its own protein powder. Their protein has similar nutritious ingredients and is manufactured using a patented process.
Zurvita’s protein is available in two flavors: Chocolate and Vanilla.
Just add water or milk to a Protein Shake bottle at any time for a snack or meal replacement.
Zurvita Protein may also be combined with other fruits and beverages to make your own smoothie.

3. Zurvita Transformation System
The Zurvita Transformation System is also called the “Weight Loss Program.”
It is, in fact, a complete program that contains both dietary supplements for weight loss and a training package.
This program includes two additional products:
- Zurvita Cleanse – a herbal probiotic
- Zurvita Burn -fat-burning thermogenic
Zurvita Transformation System (aka Weight Management Program)
Personal growth and development, healthy living exercise, and weight management balanced nutrition are among the training resources included in the package.
Zurvita also hired Peter Nielsen as the “Zurvita Challenge Coach” for this weight loss program.
By the way, I didn’t put any prices because the pricing structure is quite confusing. There are many combos and packages available, and the price is entirely determined by the package bought.
Just remember that a bottle of Zeal costs roughly $2.
4. Welcome Kit ($39.95)

This is the package you’ll need to sell to others if you want to become a Zurvita Independent Consultant (IC).
This $39.95 is often referred to as your “Enrollment fee.” Then you’ll be provided this package to help you get started with your Zurvita business.
Zurita Compensation Plan
Basically, you’ll receive a 20% commission on all your personal sales and a 5% commission on any products sold by your downlines.
Because you’re taking advantage of a team, the more individuals you can recruit to your team, the more money you may possibly make.
However, the amount of downline levels from which you may receive commission depends on your present position in the company:
The screenshot above shows that the vertical columns reflect your rank and the horizontal rows represent the number of levels from which you may earn commission.
The higher your rank, the more levels from which you may earn commission. These commissions from your downlines are referred to as “Overrides.”
Zurvita business may be divided into three phases…
Phase 1: First 30 Days of the Zurvita All-Star Program
The first 30 days are known as the “instant gratification” phase. During this, you should focus on:
- Getting as many consumers as possible
- Signing up Two Business Partners Who Share Your Vision
- Repeat the procedure.
All of your business expenses for the next month will be waived if you have 3 customers.
When this happens, you are also eligible for the Team Bonus!
Phase 2: Team Bonus
This is the point where your team begins to grow and you have more and more downlines on your left and right. When a particular quantity of “Team Business Volume” (selling a certain number of products) is reached, a bonus will be added to your Zurvita account.
Also, if you activate your team bonus during the first 30 days, you’ll receive a $320 Team All-Start Bonus.
The bigger your team, the more bonus you may receive.
Phase 3: Residual Income
As you advance through the ranks, you will finally have a team big enough to manage your business. That is when you will start generating actual residual income without needing to work.
However, this requires a significant amount of time and effort.
Zurita Support
The 4 main types of support you’ll receive after you join Zurvita are listed below…
1. Upline Guidance
Like with any other MLM business model, the first and most immediate source of assistance is your upline (the person who introduced you into this business).
However, this might lead to an issue of “blind leading the blind,” as your sponsor could be someone who is also unfamiliar with sales.
When you join Zurvita, the first thing you’ll be advised to do is create a list of 100 individuals with whom you wish to connect and sell Zurvita products.
This is the most traditional way to manage a network marketing company. It has also been proved to be ineffective.
2. Online Virtual Office
Zurvita provides its own Virtual Office where you may access your own back office as well as all of your company’s digital resources.
But I’m not sure why this costs an additional $34.95.
3. Personal Website
You will also get a personal website for $34.95, which you may use to share your business with others.
You will get a commission if someone buys any of Zurvita’s products through your website.
However, you should be aware that this method is also unsuccessful UNLESS you have prior expertise with internet marketing.
This “personal website” they provide you is clearly a duplicated webpage. The problem with duplicated websites is that they are not ranked by Google.
As a result, the only option for you to generate traffic and acquire leads is to use paid traffic strategies.
If you have no expertise in internet marketing, you will most likely waste money on purchased traffic and get poor results.
4. Mobile App
Among all of Zurvita’s resources, I think this mobile App is the most useful.
ZMobile is Zurvita’s mobile app. You can easily track and follow-up with your prospects using this App.
You may, for example, quickly send SMS or share videos with others, access training videos, monitor your statistics, and so on.
Pros & Cons
The Good
1. Zurvita Is A Member of Direct Selling Association (DSA)
It is an association of Direct Selling companies that makes sure that these companies are abiding by the laws and the standards.
2. Rapid Growth
Between 2011 and 2014, Zurvita’s revenue increased by 69 million. And in 2016, they hit a revenue milestone of $100 million!
3. Products Are Unique and Clinically Proven
This is self-explanatory. I’ve already shown you that Zurvita’s products are not only unique but also clinically proven.
4. No Recurring Costs
Zurvita offers its own autoship system so you can get your products every month. And the cost will be deducted automatically to your account.
But they make it optional. This system lets you buy products you only need.
5. 30-Day Money-Back Guarantee
If you are not satisfied with the products, you are entitled to a 30-day money-back guarantee.
Note: The weight Loss Program is not included in the 30-day refund policy.
The Bad
1. Low Income Potential
As shown in the screenshot, 11.6% of all consultants make an average of $136 per year, while 78.1% make an average of $618.
Adding these two groups together, about 90% of all Zurvita Independent Consultants make less than $700 per year.
To be honest, $700 per year is too little.
BUT, compared to other MLM companies, I think Zurvita is better. Unlike other companies, you do not need to pay monthly for Zurvita.
2. Huge Decline in its Stock Price
Zurvita is also a publicly-traded company.
Just check at the Zurvita stock price from 2009 to 2018…
Zurvita’s IPO price was about $1.50 per point. As you can see in the screenshot, it’s currently under 20 cents.
In fact, it dropped in 2010, shortly after its IPO.
3. Hard to Join
How hard is it to join?
To join an MLM company, you must be sponsored by an existing Distributor.
If you don’t have a Distributor, they usually help you find one nearby and join under him/her.
However, there is no such option in Zurvita. You can’t join them until you have a Distributor.
4. Only Available in 7 Markets
Many large MLM companies have over 10 markets. Many have over 20 and others over 30.
With only 7 markets, Zurvita is likely not doing well.
Is Zurvita a Scam?
As I already stated, Zurvita is NOT a scam! It is a legit MLM company.
They have their own unique products, as well as their own patent. This is not a pyramid scheme in which all you have to do is recruit new members.
Despite having such amazing products, their company is struggling.
Zurvita’s stock price, as shown at the last part, is quite alarming. I’m sure you don’t want to work for a business that isn’t profitable, do you?
As a result, although Zurvita is a legitimate company, I personally advise you to look for better opportunities like starting your own online business.
